No one said anything about country!!!!! geezums, people!!! Country!!! It's not the hillbilly stuff you lot think it is. Listen to today's country, not classic country.
Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Julianne Hough, Jack Ingram, Josh Turner (totally drool-worthy voice, and a bod to match), to name a few.
It's not all "he loved me and left me". Miranda Lambert has "Gunpowder and Lead".
Go check out some country. Then you might have the right to day it sucks. But that's your opinion. I just might shove it back down your throat.

For a while my parents played nothing but country in the car.
Purely because we went to church with some guy who worked with the local country station.
To me it pretty much was all the same stuff over and over.

The only country music I like is classic country. Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette are the only country musicians I can stand.

I just have one thing to say... ok two. Gunpowder and lead is an awesome song. Also, I don't like a lot of country because there's no poetry to it. It just means one thing, not different things to different people. Sure, you understand it better depending on your experience with the subject, but they tend to write about what everyone has written a song about. It's just not... different.

I've grown up with listening to Country. My Dad loves Country music, so when I grew up I was always listening to KUPL 98.7. Plus my bus driver liked Country music, and always had the radio station on KUPL too. So for most of the day I would be listening to Country music.
I love Country music. It's one of the three top music genres enjoy, besides Pop and Rock.
In general, I love the old and new Country music. If people don't like, I don't really have a problem with it. I think the only thing that bothers me is when people say they hate a certain genre of music and haven't really listened much to music from that genre to clearly make such opinion. They usually just make the opinion because everyone else doesn't like or what not.
Anyway... xd
