I am so pissed. When I found out our new pres was him, I fipped. I'm very young, so excuse me if I'm getting this wrong. He's inexperienced. We are in an econimic crisis right now! It's not that we're not ready for a black pres, we're just not ready for this one. Now excuse me if you're black. I'm not trying to offend you and I'm not racist. But if you think about it, how many black people have never voted, but came out this year. Do half of them even follow his beliefs on our society and how it should be run? I'm sorry, but this is affecting my future, not just their's. I don't want to witness a world war 3. Any other time, when everything was going way better, we might be able to handle this. But not now.

Dearie, we're in World War 3 And think of this way, McCain and Bush shared a lot of the same beliefs Do we really need another person like Bush around?
And Obama may not be as inexperienced as McCain, but that does not make him inexperienced
This was the first election I truly cared about And I'm proud Obama won it Its about time for a change and McCain wouldn't have changed much
Just my opinion of course

He's not inexperienced or going in blind.
He is extremely intelligent and rational, and he has a great understanding of the American people, in part due to his upbringing.
Obama demonstrated a far superior understanding of the economy.
McCain = Bush. Bush = war. I'll let you finish the math.
Obama being elected president has been the first time I've felt truly proud to be an American.

I thank you for sticking up in what you believe in. I'm intitled to believe in what I want. I'm not arguing with you guys, I'm just saying what I think. Bush was acually a decent pres. He kept us out of war. Yes, I was mad when he deployed more troops and kept the ones that were already in there... in there. He took my Daddy away from me. But think, (yes cammy, I'm agreeing with you.) if he hadn't sent the troops over there, who knows, we could be drafting men and women left and right. We can't just pull the troops out of there, that will strike utter chaos.

Uh..actually..he is inexperienced compared to mccain..and actually even if you don't compare him to mccain..you could still say he is inexperienced.I'm sorry to say this but it's because of his upbringing that we really don't need him in office at the moment. He's a socialist and what not and his passion for the people is great..but in the matter at hand..one needs to concentrate on what needs to be done in order for the people to be protected. He seems like the kind of person who is into people pleasing way too much and will do whatever seems to make them happiest the most..which isn't always the best approach.. but then again this is just my opinion. On another note..I wish people really wouldn't say Mccain is like bush..if you think about it..although some of their views may be the same..bush promised a lot of things he didn't even do and although he is not the best president...he did do some things that helped..and every bad thing that happened is not entirely his fault.I've said this before..when people think something will work out..they instantly go along with it..but when problems come up..no one wants to take responsibility and they play the blame game.If bush was such a bad president why elect him a second time? Not to mention that has anyone stopped to think that the congress is mostly at fault for everything that's happened.Bush can't just sit there and say 'LET THIS BE DONE' and have it happen. He has to pass that through congress and if it's denied,he can't do it.Therefore..blaming the man for every single waking error of the US is just being ignorant. He may not be a good president..and I myself don't like him..but c'mon.. neutral !

do you actualy realize how little power the president has? verry little he has to go infront of congress and ask them if he can get bills passed and such. its more of his people getting what they want then the president

i have been for Obama since the beginning, this however does not in anyway make your opinion incorrect or invalid. Quite frankly i like some of his inexperience the "experienced" people are the same people that have been in Washington for ages now and someone who is doing the exact same thing that all the other politicians have will lead us right into another depression. In order to have the change that America needs, we must have someone that isn't apart of the same stock, that every other president in history has been apart of.
~However i appreciate someone who is young finding a voice in politics, but i encourage you to do some real research and find out the facts on all sides and not pick a side based on what your family/friends have told you.(and by real research i mean don't buy into propaganda.) And as far as republicans go i like McCain, he is a good man and i don't say that about any republicans to be honest. He might have actually had a chance if he didn't pick someone like Palin.~
P.S. A. Lincoln was an inexperienced senator from Illinois too wink

Shining_Tears648 He's a socialist and what not I would like to know where the hell everyone is getting that Obama is a socialist? He is not! McCain even said he wasn't (I have proof!)
And anyways, do any of you guys saying that even know what a socialist is? ...Without looking up the definition stare And if you do, give me proof that Obama really is one Otherwise I am to believe you are just spreading the rumor further

alphafemale76 Bush was acually a decent pres. He kept us out of war. "Kept us our of war"? Are you mad? He started a pre-emptive war! A war founded on LIES, no less. Even now, when we KNOW that there are no weapons of mass destruction, the war continues.

Uh..you're the one that's being rather ignorant don't you think?Bush only reacted to what the people wanted after september 11th.Mostly everyone was angry about the towers and wouldn't you think that if you're entire nation wanted something..you'd do it?Besides..he simply suggested the war,he didn't actually just say lets do it and it happened. Not to mention..that we aren't even over there for their 'weapons' anymore. It's the oil.So um yeah..

But remind me again how thats got anything to do with Iraq........or why we are no longer focusing much on Afganistan, which we never actually finished.......

I don't care to know how I am being ignorant I am only stating the truth and what I believe Whether it comes out as ignorant to you, I honestly don't care It is how I am on the matter
And I agree with Azrael; Just how is Iraq associated with the Twin Towers? And just because a select few morons decide to highjack a plane and kill a couple thousand people, we have to go kill their innocent people in return? An eye for an eye right? [sarcasm] Way to go America! [/sarcasm]
A president shouldn't always do what his country asks Just look where it got Bush Now most of his country hates him Because now our soldiers are dying
And the only reason I can think the people of America even asked for the war was because they were scared We learned just today in history that often when people are scared, the act rash and without thinking of consequences
On another note, its their oil, not ours We're stealing from them
There is absolutely no reason for us to be in neither Iraq nor Afghanistan
