Rings Sets

The concept of ring sets is incredibly simple. When you equip all four rings on the same hand (either the four leftmost ring slots or the four rightmost ring slots) you will gain an extra bonus.

For example, here you can see me wearing the Angel Set on one of my hands in order to get more drops from monsters:

Notice that the four rings on the right are glowing, indicating the activation of the set. 3nodding

Here's a list of ring sets (provided here for guild convenience):

--------

Pirate (footspeed bonus):
Hack, Slash, Keen Aye, and Shark Attack

Ninja (dodge bonus):
Mantis, Shuriken, Ghost, and Dervish

Chef (armor bonus):
Meat, Pot Lid, Knife Sharpen, and Teflon Spray

Medic (health regeneration bonus):
Bandage, Diagnose, Adrenaline, and Defibrillate

Space Trooper (weight increase ; resist knockback):
Solar Ray, Turtle, My Density, and Guns, Guns, Guns

Demon (stamina recovery bonus):
Hot Foot, Fire Rain, Iron Will, and Scaredy Cat

Angel (luck bonus, IE better monster drops):
Healing Halo, Divinity, Wish, and Hunter's Bow

Prankster (minor accuracy and dodge boosts):
Improbability Sphere, Duct Tape, Gumshoe, and Heavy Water Balloon

Shaman (willpower boost):
Hornet's Nest, Quicksand, Rock Armor, and Coyote Spirit

Athlete (maximum health boost):
Bump, Taunt, Fleet Feet, and Fitness

For the remainder of this thread, we can talk about strategies in our character designs, coming up with ring combinations and overall strategies. 3nodding
(Perhaps the same purpose as this thread?)

Solo Item Hunter (Angelbow if using all ranged attacks?)
Left hand:
-Attack Ring (Mantis, in my case)
-Attack Ring (Bump, in my case)
-Diagnosis / Bandage
-Fitness

Right hand (Angel Set):
-Hunter's Bow
-Healing Halo
-Divinity
-Wish

The basic idea of this build is that the Angel Set provides a significant boost to luck, so you boost it a little more with Fitness. If desired, you could toss Diagnosis / Bandage for another attack slot. The reason you have those is for quicker recovery between battles. (Healing Halo doesn't quite cut it.)

You also have choices for your attacking rings. You could go with an arsenal of ranged attacks or with powerful close range attacks. The general idea is that you want to hit with Hunter's Bow and take advantage of the enemy's slowed movement. In the case of ranged attack rings, you want to stay out of reach of their attacks, where-as with close ranged attacks you use their slower speed to give your attacks more time to recharge.

Disadvantages:

-Minimal crowd control (Hunter's Bow)
-Minimal combat buffing (Fitness, Divinity)

Here's a set I've wanted to put together just for fun:

Berserker
Left hand:
-Mantis
-Hack
-Slash
-Dervish / Bump

Right hand:
-Solar Rays
-Guns Guns Guns
-Shuriken
-Shark Attack

As you can see, it is all attacking rings. Mindless to use... just keep spamming those hotkeys! Become the living blender of doom, eat your enemies alive, attack attack attack! scream

Possible disadvantages:
-Stamina? What stamina?
-No buffs, no healing
-Very minimal crowd control

Those are interesting sets. So I just post my fav set of rings?

Left:
1. Solar
2. Diagnose
3. Defibrillate
4. Mantis
Right:
5. Hack
6. Slash
7. Wish
8. Pot Lid/Bandage.

Um...healer and attacker! Also at defense too! OH LOOK. I'M AN ALL-ROUNDER! Attacking is...fun. Healing is useful. Gotta save yourself with Pot Lid or Diagnose right? But, who needs crow control rings when you can slice away with Slash?

Disadvantages:
-HOLY CRAP. WHERE DID MAI STAMINA GO?! (OH LOOKIE. THAT'S THE ONLY ONE. =DDD)

I've been using 3 sets lately, my own, Priest and Soloer.

My own(Nitro's =D)
-Defib
-Hack
-Slash
-Mantis

-Fire Rain
-Dervish
-Diagnose
-Fitness

This set can be used to tank in a crew or to solo some animated, it has lots of attack rings and when you are alne you can change defib for bandage.

Priest
-Medic Set
(defib, diagnose, bandage, adrenalin)
-Angel Set
(wish, divinity, healing halo, hunter's bow)

This is the best healer set EVER, and as long as you are the only one in your crew healing and boosting you'll get as much drops as anyone else.

Soloer
-Diagnose
-Hack
-Slash
-Shuriken

-Fire Rain
-Divinity
-Ghost
-Fitness

This one gets you extra stamina, extra dodge and a huge attack power.

Whoa, that's the exact same as my default, except I use Divinity instead of Fitness. The rings are also in different order, of course, but they are still the same rings...

Right now I've got a rather diverse set of rings.
Hunter's Bow, Divinity, Wish, Healing Halo (For the luck bonus, I really like the extra luck, especially when doing some CL limiter grinding to get my overall CL set to something better)
Guns, Guns, Guns, Solar rays, Hornet's Nest, and Bandage.

it's, not the best combination at the moment, I'm still experimenting, and my other ring choices arent that great at the moment:
Shuriken, Diagnose, Improbability Sphere, Hot Foot, Scaredy Cat, Fire rain, and Iron Will. I'm trying to collect all the rings before getting a good solid level 10 across the board. but I'm also trying to get my Cl for each ring to a standard at the same time as getting my useful ones up higher (to keep the CL at a decent level)

My ring set is ninja. After I got the ninja ring set, I really love ninjas. My rings are, solar rays, diagnose, defib, bandage, ghost, dervish, shuriken, and mantis. Ninjas are AWESOME!! ( You might not like ninjas, but I do.)

Mine's kinda like:

Solar Ray/*Shuriken
*Bandage/Diagnose
Slash
*Dervish/Fire Rain

Hunter's Bow
Wish
Divinity
Halo - Angel Set

*Mostly Used

I Think it's really good if you tend to be a soloist. and LOOOOOVE those sweet, sweet orbs 4laugh

Advantages: Crowd Control, Healing, Ranged, Melee, Stamina - mostly all-around

Disadvantages: no defib XD, and no stat buffs

Right now the strategy and ring set im addicted (Which i call Guerrilla Soldier) to is:

Left Hand:
Mantis
Shuriken
Solar Rays
Fire Rain

Right Hand:
Bandage
Diagnose
Fleet Feet
Defibrilate

The set is really handy in that it is balanced and it allows me to use guerrilla tactics such as hit and run. There is one close range, long range, extreme range, and crowd so its really flexible in its uses. I can lure one enemy away without causing the animated to mob. Another part of this set is the second half where i also have flexibility in healing and fleet feet to help me in my tactics.
Advantages: Flexibility in range, speed, guerrilla tactics
Disatvantages:If they mob more than around four, chances are grim, tend to use a lot of stamina quickly
