So, I haven't seen anything in here about longboarding- nothing about any kind of skating even, so I might as well make one.
I was the one who brought the longboarding craze to my town, and started the first team here with a few of my insane and troubled friends (you know those are always the best friends to have mrgreen )
And by now we've built a pretty substantial press, so we press, cut, and assemble boards for anyone local around here that's serious about riding and doesn't wanna pay for either a low-grade Sector 9 (yeah, most of their decks suck, sorry to break it to yah.. Oh, but they are great starting boards; I started on one.) or shell out the serious cash for a Loaded or something like that.
My riding styles and routes include mostly dancing, even when I'm just cruising (like getting to school, or to the store or a friends place) I'll still be busting out some footwork, it fun! We also have a few hills we found locally (and even a few really long runs) for some awesome carving and bombing.
I've attempted sliding 5 times, and eaten pavement 3 times.
Oh, and a month ago I had 4 staples put into my head because I uhm.. "forgot" to wear a helmet. Heheh.. sweatdrop
So, there's my story, who else rides?
