For centuries, the two kingdoms of Guere and Falere have been at war.
The two races of the kingdoms are bitter enemies and rivals for dominance over new lands and shared provinces. Thousands are killed each year due to small wars that erupt along the country sides of each kingdom.
There is hope though.
The rulers of each land have decided to take three of their young royals - three girls from Guere and three boys from Falere- and bind them in marriage to bring peace to their kingdoms.
There is just one problem.
Each person likes a different person than the one they have been chosen to marry, and they can't switch because there is a contract that binds them. If the contract is broken, a large scale war will erupt and they themselves will be tried for treason and will be hanged.
What will these starcrossed lovers do?

I'd always expected to be wed to some fat and easily manipulated bore. Were this a prince of any other nation, I would gladly accept my fate and find whatever way I could to wrap him around my dainty little fingers. To be married to some barbarian from Falere, however, has me seriously distraught. I do not believe that marrying us to these sky-rats will prove to be a fruitful endeavor. If anything, I fully expect that we will eventually be assassinated or forcefully taken back to our homelands once yet another war inevitably breaks out. Ever since i was little I was always in court, gaining secrets and friends. I figured the more people I had ears for the better I could serve my parents and my sister when she got older. I have always known of the feud between the two kingdoms, but only when I was older did I understand the severity of it. I then petitioned my father to allow me to sit in with his war planners and listen and advice him.

I am a bit more reserved than my sisters, but only by my outer appearance. In truth I am probably the most wild out of the three of us. When in public I will speak only when spoken to, but once alone or in the company of my siblings I can't be bothered with respectful pretenses. While my brothers play that little dull position of royalty, I express my emotions outwardly and proudly. I'm quite energetic; Mother has always complained of my liveliness as a child. Okay, I do admit, I can be a little stubborn and unreasonable AT TIMES, but it really isn't my fault. It's not fair that my older brothers always get a larger than a fair share of attention and respect than I do (yes, I am specifically speaking of YOU, Indrallious). In public or in private, I am the same as ever; outgoing, friendly, and quite the charmer! I can be childish, and yes, I do sulk a little whenever things don't go my way, but I can be as well-mannered and proper as my brothers!

Though I am treated adequately, it's obvious that I am...not well liked by my parents. They have given up on their attempts of forcing me into the image of the perfect, royal little prince they had in mind. My older brothers were more than enough to keep the family reputation in a good state, so why bother with me? As long as I don't tarnish the family name, I might as well do as I please. I was glad that I was allowed to be myself, however, I lost the respect and acceptance of my parents. Yes, I live with them, sleep, and eat with them, but at the same time I'm a stranger. At least I have the company of my brothers. And soon, a beautiful royal maiden! Who | loves | Who?
The order of marriage goes by the order of birthright- meaning that the eldest marry each other and so on. However, as stated in the introduction, each prince and princess love a different sibling than the one they are destined for. In order to leave out any confusion, here is the list of who each prince or princess is secretly in love with.
[note: love does not have to be present from the get go. They will be named as the role-play progresses.]

All positions have been filled. Thank you to everyone who sent in their profiles to be decided upon, and I'm sorry I could not accept all of you.
As for those of you who did make the cut, I request your patience for a few more days as I settle into my summer job. I hope to open this by Friday afternoon, but that could easily change.
