Welcome to Strangetown Ticvor had just recently moved into a new town where he has a hard time adjusting to his new life. For some reason everyone in town seems weird to him. Most of them seem to believe in things that can't possibly exist. However there are many secrets buried in Strangetown. In fact the supernatural was just everyday life here. Things from Vampires, to Aliens. Ticvor is going to learn just how real all of them are.

About Strangetown Strangetown is a small town in the middle of the desert. Surprisingly the weather is somewhat mild for a dessert town. Because of the long night hours this town attracts those who aren't human. Even a few aliens have taken up residence here.

So when he was old enough he changed his name, and ran away to Strangetown. He ended up being Ticvor because of an obsession with Homestuck. Ticvor is nice, but can come across as a jerk at times. Bio: Veronica is probably the oldest 'living' resident of Strangetown. She also happens to be a vampire. She'd taken up the task of being a mayor for nearly 50 years. She doesn't try to hive the fact that she is a vampire. People doesn't seem to notice. She also isn't the type of vampire to hunt humans. She had a supply at her home, while eating normal food outside of her home. Something about Ticvor seems to interest her... [Going to start this up. Anyone can join at any time. I'll try to keep the storyline up to date for newcomers]
A small house in Strangetown was for sale until recently. Someone from out of town had bought the house. Whoever it was they were pretty young. The house's owner is an 18 year old kid who was named Ticvor Lowbro. The mayor had wondered rather it was his birth name or not.
Some residents who found out about him who were also Homestuck fans had a bit of a giggle over his name being like a trolls. Some wondered if it was coincident. Some believed it wasn't his original name. Not many people cared too much about that detail. In fact everyone liked the unusual name.
Currently Ticvor was on a bus it was on its way to another town, but it stops at Strangetown on the way anyway. Most of them were on their way to a vacation destination. Ticvor was on his way to his new home. He wondered what kind of place Strangetown was. But if he remembered correctly it was not very exciting. But it sounded interesting enough. Either way the house was pretty cheap, and the cost of living was low enough even for him. So that was a good enough reason to move there.
Ticvor had let out a yawn as they came across a small town in which he guessed was Strangetown. He wondered to himself why it had such a name, but dismissed the thought. It stopped right in front of his house. It was a small place surrounded by a brick wall, and had had a gate at the entrance.
His luggage included just one suit case with only his clothes. Luckily the place was already furnished. And most of his other things were already sent ahead of time. "I guess this is hello to a new life...." she muttered. "I bet people can see the stars clearly here. Guess I'll invest in a telelscope" he muttered to himself.
He left the luggage at the fount door before he went to wander around the town. Mainly to the closest community center which happened to be a public pool. Quite a few residents were there handing out.

Among the residents at the pool was one of Ticvor's new neighbours, Jaqueline Casper. Unlike most who came to the pool to swim or oggle hotties in their swimsuits, Jaq would come about twise a month to paint. Those who wished a quick, quality portrait could simply approach and ask so long as they had sufficient simoleons on hand. Those who didn't, assuming business was slow, might probably be painted from a distance anyway.
Her success with art contributed minimally to her carefully saved wealth, however. As it was never enough to pay for upkeep of her not so humble abode, she tended to use her 'art money' to fund her latest 'paranormal investigation'. Being the sometimes terrible judge of character and humanity that she was, though, these investigations more often than not ended in failure.

Ticvor look a look around the place. It looked like a very nice town so far. However he probably wouldn't join in the fun just yet. For some reason he suddenly felt a little tired. He ordered a cold soda from the snack bar, then proceeded to sit at a table to enjoy the drink. He let out a yawn.

Jaq painted for a while longer, each stroke of her brush careful and precise. A pleasant smile was locked upon her lips as she continued her work. (Well, she continued her work until she ran out of paint.) She only let herself get up and head towards the snack bar when she could do no more work for the moment being, looking as if she had just been robbed of life and soul. Of course, such an expression quickly faded as she bought herself something sweet to nibble on before heading home. Of course, she couldn't help but notice a cotton candy haired stranger nearby. "You new here?" she asked, grinning ever so broadly once more.

Ticvor looked up when he heard a question. "Oh yeah, I had just moved it to that house across the road" he said, he appears a little tried. "My name is Ticvor Lowbro by the way" he said wondering if she'd laugh at how silly the name might sound, or laugh after connecting it to Homestuck.

"Nice to meet you, Lowbro. I'm Jaq, Jaq Casper." Hilariously enough, Jaq would probably be the last to comment on a wierd name, let alone put much thought into it. Considering who she was as a person, this was hardly surprising. "Wait...do you mean that small one that's been for sale for forever and a half? The one across from the big, spoooooooky mansion?"

"Thats right" Ticvor said, "Plus, I wouldn't really call that mansion spooky though" he said after a moment. "I didn't take a good look, but it seems quite charming to tell the truth" then again he is a fan of vampire movies. Sure he didn't believe in such things, but it didn't mean it didn't love vampire movies, or book for that matter. "But anyway its really nice to meet you"
Soon he realized she didn't comment on his name like everyone else did. He was surprised how many people got the homestuck reference. It was nice for once not being asked about that.
"To be honest I was surprised how cheap that house was. But I didn't really take a look inside yet" Ticvor added.
