James and Guilmon landed in a heap, groaning in pain slightly. They both stood up looking around confused. "I could have sworn that we followed them, so where are they?" Guilmon just shrugged. James sighed before looking more closely at where they landed. "Uh-oh Guilmon, we're at the beach, you won't be good until Gallantmon."

D and his Digimon managed to land on their feet. "Hmm, is this a beach?" D inquired, as he entered the dark realm of a beach, as he picked up some sand from the ground, observing it. "Well this is an interesting predicament," he said once he saw James stand up after arriving, viewing that they both had Guilmon as their partner Digimon. He looked at the dark body of water, seeing that there was movement from within it. "Seem like we'll be having to fry some fish," D commented, prepared for what was to come. He knew it would be better if both Tamers were to aid each other, and who knows, perhaps they could even perform some sort of insane combination moves. It would be quite interesting, wouldn't it?

The area was treacherous, a dark wave plagued cove. A beach, one that stretched on for ages. This biome of the digital world was a death trap to foreigners. The dark ocean gave off a cold unwelcoming breeze to the onlooking tamers, however, a digimon knew the moment the two tamers set foot on its beach. GigaSeadramon. Yet it concealed itself under the water some distance from the tamers. The massive fortress digimon looked up to see a human floating on a barge above it. The black tamer spoke, "Lord Reapermon demands it, you will eliminate all intruders." It scowled and commented back, "What's stopping me from just killing you boy!" With a swipe of its mighty tail GigaSeadramon attempted to kill the man dressed in blue and black, but to no avail, he was already gone the barge destroyed. Another scowl. And another comment, "If Reapermon demands it..." As it finished speaking GigaSeadramon opened its mouth and its minions began to pile out one by one. Penguinmon, Gizamon, MarineDevimon, MetalSeadramon, and Ikkakumon.

GigaSeadramon's massive tail rose from the black ocean. It was determined to stop the tamers in their tracks. There was a roar, the fortress was angry and it would fulfill its promise to Reapermon. The mighty tail struck the water creating a deluge of epic proportions. The wave was gigantic. A tidal wave with enough force to crush the beach and everyone on it. It moved fast, the wall of water kicking up winds in the area, signalling its arrival to the tamers on the beach. With a nod his minions began swimming towards the beach to mop up whatever was left of the intruders.

Both James and Guilmon were awed at the huge wave. The fact that something sent that, as they saw it rise from the ocean in front of them, meant whatever it was, was very powerful. Though feeling that now was not the time to gawk and wonder about powerful digimon and huge waves, hid behind his always lovable partner before shouting out in panic. "Come on buddy, you need to weaken it enough to at least be bearable to you." Guilmon nodded before the same crimson digicode wrapped around him and enlarged in about two seconds before a voice came from the egg shaped digicocoon "Guilmon Warp Digivolve to ... WarGrowlmon." As soon as WarGrowlmon appeared, James climbed on to his partner's back for safety before red energy began to be absorbed into WarGrowlmon's chest cannons. "Atomiiiiiiiiiiiiiic...," as the large crimson, half-robotic, half-dinosaur digimon prepared his attack, the energy in front of his chest cannons swelled slightly. "Blaster." As WarGrowlmon finished announcing the name of his devastating attack, the energy swells blasted forward in beams of red light and hot plasma towards the wave that was charging towards them. It didn't take long before the two forces connected and struggled against each other. Unfortunately, the wave didn't stop it's charge, but thankfully it did slow down and weaken enough to easily be survivable for his ultimate level digimon.

"Oh, great," were the only words were what D could utter as an army piled on out of the sea from a dimly lit Digimon within the sea. As the Mega level X-Antibody holder Seadramon subspecies Digimon sent out a wallop of an attack from too faraway for either Tamer to or Digimon to see, D and Guilmon could waste no time. He saw that James was already prepared, but rushing a bit too fast with going to Ultimate level already. Scanning the area, they dashed toward a large nearby rock that was right at the end of the beach, unseen by the opponents at the time the tidal wave came crashing in. The immense power of the wave was able to shift the rock that they stay protected behind, but luckily it was durable enough not to give out, yet nonetheless was nearly on top of D and his Digimon once the simple splash of its tail had ended. The Penguinmon and Gizamon came along with the wave, right near the Tamer and his Digimon. "Like really... aren't you supposed to be in the Arctic and you're supposed to be in the, I don't know, some swampy lagoon?" He asked pointing at Penguinmon, then at Gizamon. "We'll have to remove the out of placed Digimon here, shouldn't we Guilmon?" D asked, looking toward it's partner.

Guilmon flung it's head back, launching a powerful "Pyro Sphere!" eliminating the two Rookie Digimon simultaneously. Just as it quickly finished them, it absorbed their data, empowering itself. Right after that attack however, it gathered some more attention from the minions. A large shadow appeared from above the rock they had hid under, and an Ikkakumon was ready for it's chance for a sneak attack, but Guilmon and D both could notice that the rock was highly unsteady with the currently, very watery ground they were standing on. Nodding to it's Tamer, like they had an unsaid connection, it unleashed it's attack as a crowd of many more Penguinmon, Gizamon, and Ikkakumon came to them from all sides. "Rock Crusher!" Guilmon announced, powerfully at the ground a medium length distance in front of where it and D stood, smashing the sand, and causing the Digimon that were surrounding them to come in closer with the now unstable floor of the beach.

D delivered a kick to the stone that had protected them, further affecting the gravitational pull that Ikkakumon had caused on the slanted rock and the surface floor which D currently stood on, and ran towards his Digimon, and was carried by Guilmon into the air in a energy packed leap away from their assailants, as the rock cam tumbling down on all of them, with only the Ikkaumon that was on top upside down and confused. It was a majestic sight to behold as a stream of data from under the rock flowed from the fallen minions,and unified into a straight beam that lead towards D's Digimon, further empowering Guilmon. When the two had landed, Guilmon took another leap back towards the coastline as the two took separate landings atop of rocks that were able to not get in the way of the tidal wave that had struck. A group of four MarineDevimon approached Guilmon from within swirling waves. D almost rolled his eyes at the instant that the Ultimate Digimon took form from the water, but evaded the need to. "This almost always happens whenever there can be a perfect heart to heart talk with a Digimon who is trying to kill us for unknown reasons, doesn't it Guilmon?" he posed a question to his partner Digimon.

"You're telling me... it's like everything wants to get barbecued today, and I've absorbed so much data as it is... I can't wait until I need to Digivolve again," a fanged smile appeared on Guilmon's face. For some reason or another, D's Digimon had been acting quite savage rather than how they initially were as a team, but it was purely as a purpose to enable a more direct, precise stop to what could be a danger to them or others in the Digital World. With claws opened and ready for what the group of MarineDevimon or from whatever caused that first attack originated from could do, it awaited ready, distanced from its Tamer, but not too faraway to be able to protect D.

The digimon continued their relentless assault in the name of their leader GigaSeadramon. Even if they had no chance at all the digimon would continue to fight to the death. Their numbers were picked off one by one, it was obvious that they would need a strategy to win the battle. Another wave kicked up, though significantly smaller than the one that had attacked before. The last of the minions were gathering for a final assault on the beach. From the wave nosed ten MetalSeadramon, the backbone of the battalion. Their noses glowed as they all called out at once, "River of power!" The lasers from their snout erupted onto the beach, fired violently against its shore, aimed towards the tamers, their digimon, and just about everything else. The beams that didn't hit the humans or their partners impacted the sandy surface, whipping up its contents into a sandstorm, obscuring their vision from the rest of the lasers that continuously fired on the area.

At the very moment the lasers went off, Guilmon intercepted the beam that was directed at his Tamer, not allowing any harm to come to him. At that instant, it Digivolved into Growlmon, absorbing the data of the fallen Digimon, and the light that came from it blinded the MarineDevimon that were nearby and struck them all down with a large wipe of its bladed forearms, deflecting several other beams that were directed at it and D. Leaping at the four Ultimate level Digimon, it sent them flying away with the immense power that it had been storing all this while. With intent set in its eyes, Growlmon's pupils dilated and sharped, letting out a savage roar into the dark sky. Not giving a chance for the Digimon to retaliate, it kept on swinging it's blades from near and far, howling the name of it's attack, "Plasma Blade!" as it continued on it's attacking rampage.

D had taken cover behind his Digimon, and mounted once again upon his Digimon. Growlmon was solely protecting its Tamer, and D knew that they'd have to get to a higher level to enable their victory in this dark, quite dreary area. As he watched his Digimon defeat the Ultimate level MarineDevimon, he knew that they wouldn't have too much of a problem on their hands, but those lasers... they'd need a tactical plan to stop those, and becoming WarGrowlmon would just make them a bigger target. He kept a steady hold on his Digimon as they descended from the peak of the rock that they stood on top of. Both Tamer and Digimon knew what to do.

Acknowledging what D had in mind, Growlmon looked on to where D had looked towards, and launched rounds of "Pyro Blaster" attacks, hitting several of the MetalSeadramon head on, while maintaining their balanced fall to the beach. The MarineDevimon were still falling, and at the time they all landed, it was Growlmon who stood on top, destroying what was left of them, and jumping right onto the back of a few MetalSeadramon that had been hit by its attack, not completely in its senses for the time being.

WarGrowlmon growled as he easily dodged the beams despite his large size. It looked at GigaSeadramon's last seen position before charging another blast from it's chest "Atomiiiiiiiiic...," the crimson ultimate growled as the same attack was aimed at the larger digimon's assumed area. Despite the sand dust cloud that still blocked all vision. "Blaster." And with that, the shroud of sand parted almost immediately. Though the attack was carefully aimed, it missed a good distance, telling both digimon and tamer that they failed at what could have been a decisive blow to the terrifyingly large, mega level digimon. WarGrowlmon growled more before looking at his partner. "I think I will need more power, or else we'll be overrun in no time." James nodded in agreement before glancing over to D. After taking a few seconds to think and receiving a growling prompt from his partner. "Oh, uhm... maybe we could get the other guys' help. After all, we probably have to deal with more after this. So I'm going to see if he has anything to help deal with that swimming serpent, fortress thing." WarGrowlmon nodded as James ran over to D. As he got closer, he waved towards him. "Hey man, we need to come up with a strategy that will work. Got any ideas?"

Ten MetalSeadramon

The efforts posed by the Tamers had not effected the MetalSeadramon in the slightest. The foes were too weak, at their champion and ultimate levels their power did not scratch the surface of what the ten cyborg digimon could produce. It was their chrome digizoid armor, it has highly impenetrable. If this was the amount of resistance they posed on this level of digimon, how did the two humans plan on even defeating their boss. GigaSeadramon was an X-Antibody carrying digimon, he was far more powerful than the ten serpents they were fighting at the moment. The next attack would not be easily dodged. One of the MetalSeadramon slammed it's tail into the ocean, sending up another tidal wave in it's wake. This happened to be the same one D's Growlmon had mounted, and the red dinosaur digimon was flung back to the beach as if it were nothing. A second mega level charged it's snout before calling out, "Giga Ice Blast!" A ray of frozen energy engulfed the water and froze it just as it was about to crash down on the tamers and their partners, seemingly trapping them in a dome of ice. There was no way out now and the remaining eight MetalSeadramon surrounded the icy prison they were in and all released their attack at the same time, the eight voices rang out, "River of Power!" The attacks would surly destroy the tamers and their partners, but if that wasn't enough the ice would break and cave in on them, leaving them trapped in the rubble, with no way out but death.

"We should... I guess double Ultimate power against about ten Megas wouldn't be the wisest choice... at least we still have enough data to do a double Mega team-up?" D replied to James as the wave came in. Growlmon managed to use the wave as a sort of makeshift surf lesson with it's blades, yet the power of the dark body of water combined with the aquatic Digimon were quite overpowering, in a sense. "Yet first," D said, once they managed to settle back onto the beach, and trapped in a frozen prison, "I think we should at least bring the house down first, don't you?" he asked James from afar, as his Digimon glowed brightly, in a dark red.

WarGrowlmon stood beside D, and for the first time, it was at the Ultimate level during the course of this current mission that they were on. As the Digimon, quite larger in size, pivoted, it sent out a powerful roar, "Atomic Blaster!" as it let loose a blazing beam all around the icy prison that contained them, then watched as the ice pieces fell onto the Digizoid armored Mega level Digimon. "Megalo Spark!" It announced, launching three consecutive blasts into the air, protecting D, itself, and their allies from the falling ice shards. Yet, both WarGrowlmon and its Tamer knew that wouldn't be enough to withstand eight attacks, although it did save them from death by ice. Also, luckily since they were somewhat short on the time they had left against these Mega Digimon, Growlmon's Digivolution pattern had a special variation, being able to Digivolve into Mega in two different ways, and now was the first time it would use it on this mission of theirs. It made momentary eye contact with D, right before Digivolving into Gallantmon. It appeared with its head bowing toward its Aegis lance, just like a knight would, seeming more, approachable, in a sense, yet vastly powerful than it had been in previous forms. "Royal Saber!" Gallantmon announced, striking one MetalSeadramon immediately down, in one concentrated blow from Gallantmon's Aegis lance. "Final Elysian!" it shouted, dashing at three of the MetalSeadramon and striking them through their waves, as a beam emerged and took care of what the ice couldn't do by itself to the Mega level opponents, as the Gram Shield also defended against the water, protecting Gallantmon and D effectively.

"Time for some gallant Gallantmon combinations to be made?" D asked as he and his Digimon waited on James and his Digimon to Digivolve, and hopefully take out the remaining four Mega Digimon.

Both James and his partner and best friend WarGrowlmon nodded at the other two before WarGrowlmon was covered in a crimson cocoon of digicode. "WarGrowlmon digivolve to... Gallantmon." As the cocoon shrank and then disappeared, James' Gallantmon stared at the four remaining MetalSeadramons. Gallantmon took aim at one MetalSeadramon before shouting, "Saber Shot" and thrusting multiple times toward the aquatic dramon. Each thrust, though, sent out a blue and white energy ball at high speeds hitting the target digimon without error and causing it to blow up into many particles of data. Gallantmon then charged toward another MetalSeadramon with a shout of "Lightning Charge" as his lance became enshrouded in blue electricity as he jumped high into the air and stabbed the enemy digimon in the throat. Before it could turn into data though, he jumped off its head and landed on the next MetalSeadramon's head. Without wasting time, he yelled out "Lightning Joust" and jabbing his lance into the same MetalSeadramon's head multiple times before jumping off and turning to the last mega level minion as the one he just jumped off burst into data. And before gravity could catch up to him, Gallantmon aimed his shield at the last minion as his shield started glowing brightly. "Shield of the Just." And with that shout, a beam erupted from the shield and straight into the dramon's face. As the blast killed the digimon, it pushed Gallantmon back over the shore where he stopped the beam and landed safely on his feet. James then looked over to D and smiled. "Let's beat the last one and be done with this place. I don't like it here."

GigaSeadramon

Their was a roar in the distance. GigaSeadramon was angry. Not only had the intruders disrespected his sector of the digital world, but they had also destroyed his minions. He was angry, and his rath was about to fall full force on the humans and their partners. He could never lose to a digimon that relied on a human for strength, his power came from being alone. The ocean exploded outwards in the distance, as water displaced. The beach shook with a small quake as the biggest fortress digimon in the digital world surfaced. It was gigantic. GigaSeadramon continued to float upwards into the sky until it touched the clouds, far too high for Gallantmon to jump and attack it. It's voice rang out in anger, "You have troubled me for the last time dudes, now it's time for surfs up!" The aquatic digimon also served as an Assault Landing Ship, it was the biggest digimon in the sea, and it's body was laced in chrome digizoid armor. Being an x-antibody carrier, it was even stronger than it's normal counterpart MetalSeadramon, it's skin was so strong that the attacks used to defeat his minions wouldn't even scratch his body. With another loud roar the fortress digimon called out, "Sky Wave!" The portholes on GigaSeadramon's back opened and fired a volley of antimatter bullets high into the sky. As they reached their maximum altitude they arced and rained down on the beach full force. As the shell casings broke on the antimatter bullets on impact with the ground they antimatter seeped out and reacted with the worlds normal matter, this created a chain reaction instantly destroying whatever it touches, no matter the defensive strength. The pieces of beach they hit instantly vaporized, the fractal code of the area disappearing, leaving gigantic holes all around. Many more bullets followed and were locked onto the two tamers as well as their digimon. Being even close to an explosion when it went off would kill it's target in the matter destroying blast.
