This week's topic is... Winter Storm Jonas!
Yes, my friends, the winter storm just hit the East Coast this weekend. By that, I mean it happened on Friday with all the sleet that has been going down and then some snowfall the next morning. Predictably, schools have been closed, the traffic in the northeast has shut down, and many have gathered to clear out the roads and driveways while the young at heart play around in the snow.
So... I don't think that this was a terrible event, I guess? cat_confused I dunno. I've been living in the south for over ten years, so I'm not exactly the most ideal person to judge. cat_sweatdrop

From Friday night through Saturday night, we got our average winter's snowfall total in one storm, nonstop. I spent 4 hours shoveling out my car and helping a bit with my mom's, and our street is only plowed 1 lane wide. I stayed home from work, because I've been hearing the side roads are all either plowed well or completely impassable.
neutral I mean, I'm not devastated, but it's been a pain in the butt getting this much at once.

I've been seeing videos and photos of the snow that occasionally cross my Facebook feed that my friends and/or family have shared. Definitely pretty to look at.
