Last year over the summer my computer broke down. About a week after I bought all the parts to build a new one.

First things were the case, motherboard, hard drive, you know, all the rest of the basic necessities.
Graphics card came second. All total a pretty good steal at around 1300. (I could have spent more, but, just getting a working computer is what I was aiming for. something working, and wouldn't need to really upgrade it for a few years.)

And today, the last bits and pieces. around 200. So, all in all, about 1500 for the final product. Roommate got his for around 2600, but he had it put together at the factory since he went with liquid coolant instead of three fans, which takes longer)
