Si Hoc signum legere potes, operis boni in rebus latinis Alacribus et fructuosis potiri potes!
For you non-latin peoples: "If you can read this sign, you can get a good job in the fast-paced, hign-paying world of latin!"

I'm in Latin III. I have to say... Latin I and II are there for the grammar and ending counts, and then it's translation throughout the rest of the Latin courses (like translating for Virgil, Cicero, etc). Latin has a bajillion endings for just one verb in each person, each number. Nouns are kind of like that too. But remembering gender and out the 5 (technically 6) conjugations each word comes from, then that's nasty. Not to mention that 3rd, 3 and 1/2, and deponent verbs... It gets really ridiculous.
But if you can get the hang of it, I think it's pretty valuable. It's like killing two birds with one stone. Well, you know what I mean I hope.
