Okay, I wrote a song, I love it, and it's not too dark. Ity's called That's Life. Here are the lyrics:
Life's a gift so,

it's a good message i must say. i'm interested in what your melody is like. it's hard for me to judge a song by just the lyrics. even if a song has a really good message, it has to have a good melody and acompaniment or the message loses it's meaning.
