omiko Lemme see...good fantasy authors... -Jonathan Stroud (check out my siggy!) -J.K.Rowling (no, duh!) -Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl is pretty good stuff.) -Cornelia Funke (I only liked Inkheart, everything else she's written is okay.) I might think of more later...
Cornelia Funke? i dunno, i kinda liked her Dragonrider novel. simply wrote, but it had a good story.

awsome. all of those are my all time favorites. though I would add the Pendragon series by D.J MacHale(the only US author whose books are actually good in my opinion) and the Demonata series by Darren Shan (but it is a bit gorey)
