I enjoy shooting photo with my cameras (a canon eos 300d with 3 lens and a pentax with 2 lens kit). I think it's beautiful to shoot @ panoramas and print those photos directly with my epson r300 printer smile Anyone loves to shoot photos? wink

Whoops, I posted my own topic before seeing this one, sorry!
Anyway, I love it. I just recently became a hired personal photographer for senior portraits. I wish I had your camera, I have a small Kodak C330, but really wish to upgrade to a Canon Rebel when I get the money. ^^

sora_the_starkeeper i love pic tures im gonna become a photographer My father is one of them. He had a photo studio (a long time ago -> closed since he's old) in Tripoli. Its a very hard job. My friend works for a local journal and I know perfectly how hard it is (kinda long to explain). If you want a cheap rebel , go for canon eos 350d. Otherwise, nikon is pretty good but VERY expensive (personally i dont like fuji, the way it reproduces the colors: canon and nikon are better). Also remember that there is NO absolute photocamera since every one has its goods and bads. If you need more info about camera or lens, post here: i'll reply asap Cheers

Muffyn Anyway, I love it. I just recently became a hired personal photographer for senior portraits. I wish I had your camera, I have a small Kodak C330, but really wish to upgrade to a Canon Rebel when I get the money. ^^ I know that small photocamera. 4mpxl, 3x zoom (my friend purchased one just a week ago). Nice shots for a very low price. I know Kodak easyshare since it was my first digital camera (was a 3mpxl one), I play with it a lot, then switched for a minolta (very very good lens but pretty expensive and poor battery longevity).

Yeah, but it does it's job. The trick is getting to know it and it's capabilities, then working around it. After this convention I'm going to, I'm going to save for a Canon EOS Rebel 350D. It's affordable, and I hear a ton of good things about it. (If I win the lottery though, I'll upgrade up even more sweatdrop ).

Muffyn Yeah, but it does it's job. If you're short on cash another alternative is to go for a used 300D (which is always a very good photocamera, cmos 6.3mpxl). A little suggestion: buy an expensive lens as soon as possible. It's almost useless to buy a great photocamera like 300/350D with cheap lens (like the ones that canon gives you when you buy the camera, the EFs18-55 kit). For a decent one, expect to spend at least 700US$. And if you want very good lens, go for Canon ones. Very expensive (2x the costs of Tamron/Sigmas) but the results is . Not to mention that those Canon lens are very fast.
My suggestion for the lens: Sigma (cheap but good) or Canon. Some Tamrons are ok too.
Keep care smile
