which is better anime TV shows or the Manga

I'd say the TV shows

While I perfer some shows over the manga (aka Fruits Basket) I generally like to have the manga more then the shows. It's easier to go back and find your favorite parts and you could buy three manga for one DVD so it's a tiny bit more cost effective depending on the serise.

That and if the power goes out it doesn't affect your abbility to enjoy it.

It depends.
A lot of anime ******** up the manga... So then the Manga is then far suerior.

i prefer manga but anime shows are usually funnier than mangas

I prefer mangas because thats the true, actual story and its the original.

Though some mangas are based of anime. Cowboy Bebop, I think is one, and Samurai Champloo are examples of those.

It really all depends. On one hand, mangas are better because they are more enjoyable and are interpretable by the reader, and so take on a different meaning for each reader. They are also more cost-effective (vs. anime), and you can enjoy then anytime. On the other hand, anime is more enjoyable because it has sounds, music, and color, so you an sit back and enjoy. It brings the manga to life Also, it is cheaper per episode if you think about it, because each DVD has 5-6 episodes on it. And, some mangas are better as anime, and vice versa, some animes are better as mangas. I don't know, it depends on the situation.

It depends.
The manga are always the best, but a lot of anime are really good too, and some anime aren't. :3
