You Are What you eat?

Anyone remember hearing that saying? And did you realize it made no sense? I mean if you are what you eat that means if you eat a cow that you a cow right? and cows eat grass so you would actually be grass if that was true and you ate the cow. And also if that was true cannabalism isn't bad because people aren't eating people they're eating whatever food the animal the person they're eating ate. Now tell me, What do you think about this saying?

The saying to me has more to do with the types of things you eat and the quantity.

A lot of food eaten= A lot of person

Little eaten= Little-er person

Medium amount of food eaten= Medium person

Different foods have different nutrients. To build a healthy body, you need a wide variety of food.

You are the sum of the parts you eat.
