okay heres the deal, im trying to get an album together, but unfortunately i play guitar, and i can sing, but im mostly guitar, so i suck at writing lyrics for a song
if you have ever wanted to hear something you have written put into a song, or if your good at poems or something then write me some stuff
if you help your name will be placed on the cd booklet and you will be fully credited as the song writer
im going for more of a bluesy rocky kinda vibe, if you have ever heard jimi hendrix then you know what im talking about....kinda psychadellic without the drugs.....
whatever doesnt really matter the sound im gong for i just need lyrics so help me if you can!

Put up ads in a newspaper.
Or go to a drama/poetry/writing/etx club at your school.
People on gaia you haven't even met, who are usually VERY far away, cannot help very much..

I don't think that's entirely true. I know -for me- I love writing song lyrics but don't know many musicians who'd play them.

Listen im a song writer/drummer. I would write you some lyrics but the thing is people can have VERY diffrent opinions. you cant just ask random people for lyrics. you would have to like tell people your intrests its more complicated then you think. nice try though sweatdrop (this comment is in no way mean)

Also pends on the song and stuff. I mean, it's kinda hard to write the lyrics without knowing the tune/beat/ etc. In this case, it'd be interetsing but, you gotta give us the tune of how the song goes...

i was actually hoping to get lyrics, or a poem or anything, something to work off of to get a tune in my head, because usually i dont get a tune untill im reading lyrics.....kinda wierd right? anyways..... i am pretty much interested in anything as long as its not country or emo.... but i understand what most of you are saying and if i get some of my unlyrical music on the computer then i will give a heads up

Sorry, I only have one song and I'm planning to get it done when I get my own band together. Besides, my writing's nothing like Hendrix, and may even be seen as a little emo.

Okay, um, I write lyrics sometimes + i'll write some 4 u if u want, but on a few conditions:
1. No inappropriate themes
2. If you use my lyrics, I am simply referred to as "starscraper from Gaia"
3. You PM me with a theme, poetic form, and/or other specifications.
and
4. If you don't like the lyrics, don't send anything rude to me, simply never PM again.
