The little dragoness smiled up to him as he told her what he got, and she gave a little shake of her pack, "I got a treat for you," Using the word to tease his current form, the girl looked around and found nothing she really wanted to get for herself. Aurum paused and her brows furrowed at him, and she gave a little tug to his arm, similar to how she had before, in the opposite direction in order to leave the town. "Come on, we can get whatever else we need in the next one," She could tell he was uncomfortable in the surroundings, perhaps because of the amount of beasts. The thought struck her as an odd one, her actions felt a little weird to her. She was not one to put someone before herself without any immediate benefit.

Kaelthas gave a blatant roll of his eyes at the treat joke as they walked. It was just the easiest of the beasts to mimic so it was the one he would most often use. Being tugged suddenly, he fell in line with Aurum, letting her lead him towards the outskirts of the town. It was an interesting feeling that the dragoness could seem to sense his feelings. Then again she may have just been done with what she needed in the town and simply wished to go. "Alright then, lead the way" he commented with the girl pulling his arm.

Aurum let go of him once out of the crowded marketplace, and once they were out of the town the young girl started heading toward the next. "The town after the human one will take a full day for us to reach," Giving him a smile, she spoke again, this time with some teasing, "Maybe since you don't have to hold the glimmer up you'll be a better drinking partner," She let out a chiming laugh, flirtatious in a way, and continued on their trek towards the next town. The little dragon's hips had a small sway to them that was also a little flirtatious, though Aurum would not have admitted it. She hoped he would remove the glimmer soon, an opinion well noticed by her companion, she was sure.

"Maybe." Again the topic was back on drinking. Atleast this time it would likely be a human brew, so the strength would not be as great as the beasts. Whnen they got farther away from the town to where he didn't have to worry about things Kael reached a hand to his face and sliced thru the glimmer. The illusion falling away as he walked behind Aurum. He took notice of her as she walked, it was hard not to. While her stature in that form wasn't great, her proportions were eye catching when she flaunted them. He couldn't help but let his eyes be drawn to the motion from time to time.

Even if the woman did not turn to see 'John', she could feel his eyes on her form and it seemed to add a perk to her steps, though her strides were covering ground significantly shorter ground than his own. Eventually, though, she did glance back to him and smile, "I just might have to commission you a painting after all," She teased, though her hips didn't waver and she knew his eyes would still fall on them. Aurum looked back ahead, though she did keep smiling to herself. Maybe this adventure really would turn out interesting. The little dragoness kept her sway up until she paused to take a drink of the cool water that somehow still filled her small flask. She held it out in offering to Kael, "Might be some of the only water you drink tonight, Johnny," Aurum winked.

"Well, If you keep tempting me, maybe you will have to give me a discount." A small smile came to his lips as he picked up his pace to arrive next to her. Taking the flask in hand, Kael knocked it back quickly as he handed it back. "Well we shall see then" he commented as his pace fell in line with hers. "Then a good human wine can rival a beasts beverage anyday" he said with a raised eyebrow.

"You can drink the human brew, I'll stick to my kind of drinks," Aurum laughed, and put away the flask before she gave him a little wink. He was a smooth one, even if he teased her and kept her on her toes with comebacks. The dragoness could smell the town already, but they were still at least another thirty minutes at this pace.. if not more. Humans always stunk just a little more than beasts when in a large group, to the dragon it was more natural to smell beasts everywhere. Aurum had a touch of flirtation in her eyes when she looked to him and spoke again, "I'll let you sit in on it," She smiled to him and then looked again again. The closer they got, the stronger the smell was and the dragoness scrunched her nose.

"Or should you keep being a temptress, I shall let you sit on it" A sly grin crept over his face for a moment. His more flirtatious attitude in direct correlation with Aurums. "You should try a human brand some time. You might like it, even with your ability to out drink most creatures." Even to him currently a strong wine would be a thing to enjoy since he had arrived in the kingdom of beasts.

The dragoness gave a little shrug, "I just might if you keep this up," She said with a smile, but when she glanced to him she stuck out her pointed tongue a little, "On both accounts," Of course, if she was honest with herself, she'd much rather have been painted by the man than simply let him watch it happen.. perhaps more. Aurum let her mind wonder to what the human might be able to do and amused herself with the thoughts with a sway to her walk once more. She knew they were close, but thick trees made it much harder to see the town in comparison to the others.

Their playful banter between one another had helped pass the time greatly. Each of his comments carried a bit of truth behind it. In her human form, Kael had no opposition to bedding down the dragon. Tho the truth behind her comments he wasn't sure of. "We should be getting close to the town now. Do you plan for us to stay here for the night before continuing on?"

Aurum gave a little nod at his question, "The next town will take a full day on foot, better to get a good night's sleep in a bed before we go there," The dragoness scrunched her nose, surely he could smell the town by now as well? It was a different scent than they had been around. Maybe the decrease in magic was part of it too.. of course, beasts frequented the town as well, otherwise it would be a far more drastic decrease. On the borders all the scents and feelings mixed together and that wasn't so bad, but Aurum was not usually in this town for more than a few hours at a time. It only took an hour or so to get used to the smell, but she normally spent that hour drinking or trading with someone.. sometimes both. The dragoness could see some thinning trees up ahead and looked to Kael again, "Of course, if you want to fly again, we could always go after we drink," She gave a little laugh, knowing he had not really enjoyed his time in the air with her.

"I will pass on that offer. Something about the thought of falling to my death doesn't quite appease to my wants of flight." With the trees starting to thin the town was likely not to far off. Lifting his hand up a simple glimmer appeared upon him as a flowing brown cloak that covered his head and shadowed his face. "It's not a wolf glimmer so you shouldn't mind this to much" he commented. Being in a town of human's it was likely one or more of them may recognize the prince, something he would rather not have happened this close to their goal.

Laughing at his words, the little dragoness seemed almost pleased with herself to have given him a traumatizing first ride. In contrast, though, she gave a little pout when he cloaked himself, "As long as you take it off when we're alone," She said back seriously, but smiled after she did. Still thinking her companion was John Snow, prince's teacher, it didn't make too much sense for him to need to cloak himself.. but she didn't think too hard on it. Aurum was just excited to drink and sleep in a bed.. she just wouldn't admit that she was excited to do these things with him.

"Maybe I should return to the look of the wolf. That is the one you prefer the most right, or was that your friend?" Poking fun at Aurum's dislike of such a glimmer he shook his head. During their banter the town came into view as the forest fell away around them. "Seems like you can have that drink soon enough, after we head to the market. Get what little info we can along side maybe see if they have anything we might need." As was usual Kael was thinking both of pleasure and business of the two of them. Unlike Aurum he wanted to be mostly prepared for what ever might come their way in the unfamiliar lands.

Aurum rolled her eyes. She knew he would want to get work done first, collecting the items he felt they would need.. she just kind of hoped that Kael would suggest the bar first. Whatever, the woman would have him drunk with her soon enough. "Celestia is the one that likes wolves," She commented back, smiling to him. The little dragoness kept walking, the difference in the town almost drastic compared to that of the others. Humans were everywhere, but beasts seemed to equal them, intermingling comfortably despite the war. After all, they did remain loyal, and that was the only reason they were truly tolerated here, "Why not just pick up a scroll to help us locate the mage?" She asked, knowing she had not practiced magics of that sort in a very long time.
