Ashriel looked up when Raevyn nudged her. Her stomach churned as she looked at Jennalin. "Err...hey Jen. Sorry about yesterday...I was just upset." Jennalin's face practically lit up as the bell rang and the teacher fluttered in, on time for one.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled softly, glad to see Ashriel apologizing. It was easy to see it meant a lot to Jennalin. "Good job." He murmured in a low voice to Ash, pulling out his note book as the teacher walked in. He began doodling small spirals in the margin of his book as he listened. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, going back to her drawing. It was a fairly detailed representation of the wolf that attacked her - as good as it could get for the amount of light that she'd had. She sighed lightly, working on etching in the small, simple strokes of fur that had been visible in the pale lighting.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced over at the drawing she was working on. He leaned over to get a better look. "Wow. That's really well done." He whispered, not wanting the teacher to hear him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"It's not that great..." Ashriel muttered. She didn't think it was any good.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked at her oddly for a moment, then shrugged. "Thank what you want, I'm only saying the truth. I just know I couldn't draw anything like that." Then again, he'd never really tried. Drawing wasn't exactly something he needed to survive and those were the skills that he'd picked up the best. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel blushed as the bell rang yet again. She worked to stand up, glaring at the fact that she was going to have trouble getting the pencil pouch she dropped. "Err...Raevyn..."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hmm?" Raevyn looked up from packing up his own stuff. Catching sight of the pencil pouch on the floor, he chuckled. "Got it." He said, swooping down to pick it up then drop it in Ashriel's backpack. "There we go. Now let's get going." He led the way out of the classroom, once more clearing a path for her to follow. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel moved quietly through the hair, frowning as more and more people were staring. Lixini was quickly walking beside Ashriel.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini seemed subdued for once as she walked beside Ashriel. She couldn't forget the last time they'd spoken, the harsh words Ashriel had thrown at her. So she took it slowly, trying to see if the other girl was still mad at her. For now, she simply walked beside Ash, not saying anything. When they entered the next classroom, Lixini hesitated then took a spot next to Ashriel. Raevyn claimed his new spot on the girl's other side. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel paid very little attention to Lixini as she walked to class, to when she sat down. Her eyes glanced at Lixini before getting her sketchpad back out.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini leaned over, touching Ashriel's arm lightly. "Um, Ashriel?" She asked, using the girl's full name for once. "Are you.....Are you still mad at me?" Her voice was quiet, afraid of what the answer would be. Raevyn glanced at Ashriel, trying to silently remind her of what he'd said earlier, about pushing friends away. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel glanced at Raevyn for a moment before answering Lixini. He'd said... "No..." She told her friend, sighing softly. Her eyes were still directed down at her drawing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini grinned widely suddenly. "Yay! Thank you Ash!" She glomped the girl excitedly, pleased that Ashriel wasn't mad. She'd been afraid her friend wouldn't even speak to her again. Now she was giddy with relief. Raevyn smirked to himself, watching. Ha. For once it wasn't him Lix was crushing. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel scowled not a Lixini, but at Raevyn's grin. She kicked him lightly with her good food, as it to tell him to stop it. The teacher walked in and Ash prayed that it would be enough to get Lix to sit down. "Calm down, Lix." Ashriel said calmly. At least Lix hadn't asked about the leg yet - Ash wasn't sure what story they were using at school.
