The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's grin just widened at the kick. She would have to do much worse before he felt anything more than just a love tap. Catching sight of the teacher, Lixini suddenly let go of Ashriel, scrambling back into her own seat. She was practically quivering in happiness. But now that that was settled, she had a question. Scribbling down a quick note, she tossed it on Ashriel's desk. The hurriedly written letters asked why she was on crutches and how bad it was. The tiger that should be....isn't....

At this point, Ashriel looked at the note, then at Raevyn. What was the story gonna be? The one that spread, anyway. Whatever they told Lix would be what they told the entire school. She passed a note to Lixini, asking her to ask Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini read the note, confusion on her open features. She glanced up at Ashriel then at Raevyn - Who was currently ignoring the note passing as he figured it had nothing to do with him. Writing the question down again, she passed it to Ashriel, gesturing for her to pass it on to Raevyn who was sitting on her other side. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel put the note on Raevyn's desk quietly, going back to drawing quietly. Her eyes looked over her drawing quietly, hoping Lix would find it irrelevant if Raevyn didn't mention wolves at all.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at the note curiously before opening it and reading it. Why in the world was Ashriel directing it to him. With a sigh, he began to write, his letters a tidy scrawl. Briefly, he just wrote the same thing he'd told the doctor - A stray dog had bitten Ashriel when they startled it. Then he tossed it on Ashriel's desk and returned to ignoring them, glancing at the teacher to make sure they weren't about to be caught. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel handed the note to Lixini before whispering under her breath. Raevyn should be the only one to hear, as far as she knew. "I wasn't sure if we wanted the same story." Her eyes glanced over her sketch once more and she frowned.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "It's what Jen knows, so why have conflicting stories?" Raevyn whispered back. Unless Lucian had told her the truth, then Jennalin only knew what they'd told the doctor. Besides, it seemed the most logical story to stick with. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel glanced to Raevyn as the bell rang again. Once everyone other than her, Raevyn, and Lix had left, she began to stand, using the crutches to pull herself up. "Luke is probably going to tell Jen the truth...I don't think he would lie to her." Her eyes glanced quietly to Lixini as she continued to prepare to walk to lunch.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shrugged. "Until I know for sure, it's best to stick with that." He said, then led the way to the cafeteria. They'd left early enough to grab the crutches but hadn't gotten lunch. "Sit down. I'll grab us something to eat." He gestured to a table, then headed to get in line. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel moved down to the cafeteria quietly. She sat down at the empty table that she had taken before. Her head laid down the table. Perhaps she could attribute her sleepiness to blood loss. Okay, that was her only explanation so far. Slowly, she fell asleep where she sat, dizzy.
Jennalin sat across from Ash, an odd look upon her face. Something was wrong upon her face. Her eyes moved to watch for Raevyn. She was perfectly ready to attract Raevyn's attention and to ask a simple question.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn soon returned, carrying a tray with food for both himself and Ashriel. Approaching the table, he saw Ashriel asleep and frowned. Why was she so tired lately? It seemed all she did was sleep. Setting the tray down lightly, he glanced at Jennalin and cocked his head towards Ashriel, raising an eyebrow. He was silently asking if she knew what was making the girl so tired. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin's eyes looked at Raevyn gently. "How long did he have her in his jaws before you pounced?" She questioned. There were only a few reasons that she could come up with behind Ashriel being so exhausted.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn frowned. "A few seconds? A minute at the most. Not very long at all. I'm fast when I need to be, and I wasn't letting the mutt have her. She's mine." The last part unintentionally slipped out in a hiss. He didn't even realize he'd said it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin thought for a moment, slightly caught off guard by his claim to Ashriel. Hm...well, he could definitely be trusted with her now. "Well...she could be tired from blood loss...or...has she been eating as much as usual? Or claiming that she wasn't hungry? Like, did she eat a lot less lately?" She questioned Raevyn, trying to figure out why Ashriel was so tired.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head. "I don't think it was blood loss. I had it bandaged up pretty quickly. I don't think it bled too much. As for food, I practically had to force her to eat last night. It's kind of worrying." He admitted with a frown. He hadn't even touched his own lunch yet, too engrossed in the conversation. The tiger that should be....isn't....
