The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini pulled back, frowning at Ashriel. She bit her lip. "I'm not trying to. People just ask about you, so I answer questions." She said quietly. She hated seeming rude, and no answering questions would be rude. After a moment, she sighed. "I'll try Ashriel." More important than not being rude though, was Ash's friendship. She loved the other girl dearly. She was Lixini's best friend. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thank you Lix, I'd appreciate that." Ashriel told Lixini simply, leaving Lixini to return to Raevyn and Jennalin.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini watched Ashriel walk away then turned back to her table. "New topic." She said nervously, biting her lip. This was going to take some getting used to. But she didn't want to lose Ashriel's friendship so she would try.
Raevyn smiled slightly, welcoming her back. "See? It could wait until you were done eating." He told her lightly, chuckling. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded quietly, her eyes directed down at the table. Her fingers fidgeted under the table. A churning sensation went through her stomach rapidly, and she frowned.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn frowned at her, seeing her own frown. "Something wrong?" He asked quietly. "Your leg hurting you?" He glanced at the table as if he could see her leg beneath it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked up at Raevyn quietly. Thinking carefully, she shook her head. "Nothing." After he mentioned the leg, she met his eyes silently. "No." She answered him, her eyes going back down to the table. Her stomach made an odd noise, and she stood up again. "I'm gonna head to class." So what if that noise usually came right before someone was sick. It was just stress- and that was what she was associating it with. Thus, she wasn't about to tell Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn cocked his head to the side, catching the odd sound when many people might have missed it. "You sure that's a good idea?" He asked quietly. "Because throwing up in the classroom probably isn't the most fun experience for you or anyone around you at the time." He said bluntly. In all honesty, it sounded to him like she was about to be sick. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, nodding. "I am not missing any more school." She informed him just before the bell rang, and she set to getting to class. Already she knew that the halls were going to be crowded, and it would be difficult getting through them. But she was determined to go to class.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stared at her for a minute then sighed. "Stubborn, idiotic, hard-headed, annoying girl." He muttered under his breath then stood up. He moved to walk in front of Ashriel, clearing a path for her. As he passed her, he muttered to her in an undertone, "You throw up on me and I am going to be very displeased." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel rolled her eyes. "I am just fine. Not gonna throw up." She told him quietly; her eyes were watching the hall in front of her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "So you say." Raevyn said with a shrug. He'd learned to ignore it when Ashriel said she was fine. She would say she was fine even if she was in the midst of bleeding to death. He shook his head suddenly, banishing the thought. It felt too much like ill-wishing, something he definitely didn't want. When they made it to class, he followed the same pattern as before, taking a seat on Ashriel's good side. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sat down and set straight to drawing, the wolf now gaining nightmarish features as she added to the picture. Now, it had just evolved from observation into thought. In the sketch already was every detail she could remember, and a few bits and pieces of detail that made it look uniquely evil.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Watching Ashriel, Raevyn couldn't help but chuckle. "Taking artistic license?" He asked playfully, referring to her additions to the wolf. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was startled by Raevyn's question, and she looked at him. Artistic license? "No, I'm drawing exactly what I saw." She informed him. And, indeed, she thought she was. Even that truth was evident in her voice.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Really now?" Raevyn asked curiously, glancing from the drawing to Ashriel then back again. "You have an interesting view on things then." He said finally. The tiger that should be....isn't....
