The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes at the "coincidence". "Bugger off Jen! I'm eating!" He called, not caring if he was being rude. He didn't like being interrupted while eating. Deliberately, he ate the rest of his food at a steady pace, not bothering to hurry in the slightest. Only once he'd finished did he rise and go to the door, checking through the peephole to see if Jen was still there. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as Raevyn called out to Jennalin. Ah, well. It was funny, no matter how rude it actually was. By the time that Raevyn was finished eating, not only was Jen still out there, but Lucian was standing warily with her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn opened the door and stood aside to admit the pair. "You had to come while I was eating, didn't you?" He asked, making a face at Jen. Glancing at Lucian, he added in an undertone, "I'll take them to school and back if you want." He knew Lucian had a job of his own and Raevyn had to go to school anyways. It made the most sense for him to stay with the girls. The only issue was when the classes split and Ashriel and Jennalin were in different classes. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin only smirked at Raevyn, going over to Ashriel. Lucian looked at Raevyn as he was spoken to, thinking for a moment before he'd bothered to respond. "I actually was going to offer to drive there - since it is still fairly dark. This afternoon, however, I do need to work." He told Raevyn softly, his eyes glancing to the girls.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's amber eyes flickered towards the girl's for a moment before he nodded. "Sounds good. I'll keep Jen here until you get off work." He said quietly. He wasn't sure what time Lucian finished work but it didn't matter. They couldn't leave the girls alone, not until they were sure they were safe. And Raevyn wasn't about to let Jennalin into an empty apartment only to find out someone had been waiting for her there. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded. "Thank you." He told Raevyn before looking at the girls again. "You two ready?" His eyes were glancing over his sister's scar, which was uncovered, again.
Ashriel looked at Raevyn and Lucian confused. What had those two spoken about? She asked Jennalin quietly, and Jennalin only shrugged. She hadn't managed to pick anything up. "What's going on?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at the girls and laughed quietly. "We're heading to school, idiot." The name seemed more of a fond nickname than the insult it was from most people. "What else would we be doing?" He padded to the other room, grabbing the crutches for Ashriel. "You wanna try the stairs or just skip over them?" He asked, handing them to Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I don't wanna tempt fate." Ashriel said in a way of answer to Raevyn. Really, she thought that she would just fall down the stairs if she so much as tried to go down them on those crutches. She did take the crutches, however, and look at Raevyn.
Lucian shrugged, ushering Jennalin out and down the stairs.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled lightly. "Good choice." Making sure Ashriel had a hold of the crutches, he swept her up into his arms. He carried her out of the apartment, pausing to lock the door before he went down the stairs. He glanced around the parkade, then headed towards Lucian's car, settling Ashriel and himself in the back seat. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Once they were both in, Lucian started the car up, driving off. His eyes watched carefully as he drove them to the school; he didn't want to hit anything. He dropped them off as near to the door as he could get because it was dark outside still. Jennalin got out immediately; Ashriel grabbed a hold of her crutches and got out just after that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was out quickly, standing with the girls. His amber gaze flickered back to Lucian and he nodded. They were under his protection for now. He turned and hurried the pair into the school, not wanting them outside for longer than they had to be. "Come on. Let's get somewhere where it's bright and not so bloody dark." He said cheerfully, as if his night vision sucked, which it didn't. He saw better in half light than any other setting. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded in response, driving off to make it to his job on time. He'd gotten a new one since the incident when his sister almost had him run her over - purely because he was worried that Jen would try it again.
Jennalin walked alongside Ashriel as they moved into the building, her eyes spotting Lixini after a minute. Lixini, of course, came right up to them, curious as to why they were all coming in together. Ashriel sighed lightly as she spotted Lixini coming, looking up at Raevyn. Hopefully he had an answer, being that Jennalin was the worst liar in existence, and Ash couldn't think of anything.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini bounded up to the group, grinning. "Morning!" She chirped, hugging Ashriel and Jen. She paused, looking at Raevyn. Then she glanced back at Ashriel and Jennalin, as if just realizing they'd come in together. "What? Are you guys all living together now?" She asked with a laugh, not knowing how close she was to being right.
Raevyn just rolled his eyes. "You're crazy Lixini." He said simply. "Ashriel and I live near each other. And we took a different route to school today. We just happened to find Jen as we got closer to the school." The lie slid from him easily, perfectly believable. And believe it Lix did, nodding as if it all made sense suddenly. "Alright then." She said, letting it go without fighting it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was startled for a moment, almost falling from her crutches with Lix's hug. Jennalin caught her, helping stand back up straight. Ash listened to Raevyn's explanation, assuming that they would be using it until this thing had blown over. The first bell rang, and Ashriel and Jennalin began to head towards the first class they had - one of the ones everyone shared.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn gave a quiet sigh of relief. Really, that girl was too gullible. She believed almost anything. Shaking his head, he followed the tree, tuning out Lixini's insistent chatter. She only finally shut up once the teacher entered the class, demanding silence. The tiger that should be....isn't....
