Ashriel bit her lip as she looked at her leg with Raevyn. No, it wasn't bleeding...why did it hurt so much? Her fingers ran up through her hair. It had tangled and come out of the braid when that bear grabbed her. Funny, again they hadn't chosen to outright kill or injure her. What was going on?
Lucian looked at Ash's leg for a moment before changing into human form. "We'd better go into human form, so that when the administration comes back they don't find one or two jungle cats in their office." He explained himself simply.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at Lucian, snorting to show his opinion. He did shift though, returning to his human form as he knelt beside Ashriel. Gently, he ran his hands along her leg. "How's it feel?" He asked her softly, checking for breaks. The way she had fallen, he was afraid she might have broken it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, watching and feeling as he ran his hands along her leg. "Fine." She lied, and her voice echoed of the pain she was actually feeling. Lucian, at this point, was busy ushering Jennalin into the office so that she wasn't standing around in the halls, alone.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, his sharp ears catching the faint traces of pain, scowled at her. "Don't. Lie. Now, let's try this again - How does it feel?" He pressed down lightly on her leg as he tested it, watching her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel flinched as he pressed down on her leg again. "Okay, it hurts a little." She answered now, trying to ignore the fact that it hurt a lot more than a little. Lucian looked at them, thinking for a moment. He watched the administrators come back in - apparently they had gone to lunch. Eh. Pulling one aside, he told her that Ashriel had fallen, and that he was taking her, Raevyn, and Jennalin to have it checked out. This was more or less just to get them out of the school, and he didn't want to leave them there. Not when he needed to go back to work and there wasn't any possibility of him being able to leave again today.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded. "That's what I thought. Come on." He scooped up Ashriel and stood. Hearing Lucian's conversation with the admin, he nodded and headed out of the school. He knew why Lucian was doing this and he agreed. He didn't want Ashriel at the school anymore, not with the were's roaming loose. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, frowning. "I shouldn't miss any more school." She protested - not that she had any sort of choice at all. Jennalin was following close behind Raevyn, with Lucian exiting just after his sister. He got into his car after unlocking it, starting it while he waited for Jen, Raevyn, and Ash to get in.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Tough luck." Raevyn told her briskly. "It's either miss school, or go to school and get hurt. And I don't want you to get hurt." He slid into the car, setting Ashriel down on the back seat. "This is about whether you want to or not. This is about your safety." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn quietly; her hands moving to buckle her seat belt. Lucian started going to the hospital. "Fine." She admitted reluctantly to Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Raevyn said, buckling himself in. He was quiet the rest of the ride to the hospital. As they arrive, he smirked and picked Ashriel up. "You know, they're gonna know you by name soon." He told her playfully, carrying her inside. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him quietly. "They'd better not! I've never been in the hospital besides when you have brought me here."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn's eyes darkened. "I know." He said softly. She'd never been to a hospital, let alone this often, until he'd come into her life. He was constantly getting her hurt. Before she could reply, he set her in one of the waiting room seats and went to sign her in. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel saw the look on Raevyn's face as he replied, and she frowned. She'd just said the worst thing. Now he was probably blaming himself. It wasn't his fault at all. Quietly, she waited for him to come back over. Lucian came in with Jennalin, sitting right across from Ashriel.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was quiet as he returned to sit beside Ashriel. "We'll be called when it's our turn." He told them quietly. He crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair, not looking at Ash. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn when he sat down. "Not your fault." She said quietly, knowing that he could hear her full well. Her eyes glanced at him carefully. "Don't you dare blame yourself.
