--I'm already juggling three right now...and it might be a little more interesting if you again take the part of the doctor.-- Ashriel frowned, looking up at Raevyn. "Right...I'd forgotten." --ps: to bed with me!--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Alright. I just wasn't sure if you had anything in mind for Ashriel's injury.))
The doctor entered the room, reading from his clipboard. "Ashriel?" He asked, glancing around the group, then locking onto the girl with a frown. "You were just here weren't you? For the same leg even." Raevyn's reply was smooth and easy. "She fell. We were worried she might have hurt it worse." The doctor nodded and knelt, not bothering to make Ashriel get of Raevyn's lap. He simply pulled up her pant leg, cool hands seeking out the injury and feeling it over. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel flinched when the doctor's cold hands reached her legs. They hurt - and they hurt BAD. She took a deep breath. This really wasn't helping the fact that she hated doctors. "Ow..." Ash whined, looking at the doctor. He wasn't evil, right? "Can't we just go?" She said quietly, looking now at Raevyn's face.
Lucian frowned at the sound of Ashriel's whine. That wasn't a good sign, not at all. His eyes watched her quietly, thinking. Was her leg broken all because of this thing? His gaze shifted to his sister for a moment. How much worse would it have gotten if Jen hadn't called? He pulled his sister next to him, hugging her softly. Such a thing was common for him, he cared too much for his sister not to.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No." Raevyn told her flatly. The sound of her whine convinced him more than ever that they needed her leg checked. The doctor felt up and down her leg then sat back to think. After a moment, he told Raevyn, "I'm going to send her for x-rays. There's a chance - a good one - that there's a fracture at the very least, if not actually broken." He told them simply. "I'll get a nurse to show you to the x-ray room." He said then walked out. He could be heard talking to someone in the hallway before a nurse appeared. "Follow me please." She said, then lead the way out of the room and down the hallways. Raevyn rose, carrying Ashriel, and followed her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted lightly, looking at Raevyn. She curled up against him slightly, even when she was awake. To her, being here was much more scary than being attacked by Weres.
Jennalin and Lucian followed quietly behind, Lucian both because he was interested and worried, Jennalin because she was worried that Ashriel might have a broken leg. And that was a really, really bad thing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn kissed Ashriel's forehead lightly. "I'm sorry about this." He whispered. "I know you don't like it here and I'm sorry for causing you to be here so often." He followed the nurse into the x-ray room, setting Ashriel on the table. Then the nurse shooed everyone out, leaving Ashriel alone with the technician. He handed Ashriel a heavy robe. "I'm sure you'd like kids in the future, so let's not fry your insides. This is likely gonna hurt, but we need a couple different shots in order to be sure of anything." The tech explained, moving Ashriel's leg gently. "There. Can you hold that pose just for a second?" He moved off to the side, donned his own heavy robe, and pushed at the controls of the machine. There was a whirring, then a small ding. "Okay, you can relax for a minute. First one's done." He took the plate that held the x-ray and left to give it to the developers. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took a deep breath as Raevyn left her there. There, alone, with a doctor. Ashriel put on the robe thing, looking at the man as he moved her leg. She bit her lips as he did - it had hurt a lot. Quietly, she moved her leg back to a more comfortable position when the doctor said she could relax. this would be so much less frightening of Raevyn were next to her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn paced agitatedly outside the closed door. He didn't like leaving Ashriel in there alone. Even if it was just a technician rather than an actual doctor, he still wasn't happy about it. He paced like a caged cat, ignoring Lucian and Jennalin.
The technician moved back to Ashriel, directing her to a different position. They did this several times. "Alright sweetie. Last one. You're doing such a good job." The tech murmured as he set her leg in place once more. "Just hold it for a little bit longer." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel did as she was told, holding the leg for a few moments while he took the shook. The second he appeared to be done, she looked at him, slowly beginning to move her leg.
Lucian watched Raevyn, not really picking up on why the other cat was pacing. "Why..."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The tech nodded at Ashriel, seeing her moving. "You can relax now. Just gonna go get the last of these developed quickly. Don't go anywhere. Need to make sure the x-rays look good. You can take the robe off though." He said, then disappeared into the back, leaving Ashriel alone for a few moments.
"Why what?" Raevyn snapped as he paced, agitation and nervousness making him short with the other cat. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took off the robe quietly as the medical tech left. Where and how would she go, anyway? It wasn't like she could walk right now. She sighed, thankful that that part was done with.
Lucian rolled his eyes. "You are pacing."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I know I am." Raevyn retorted, tossing a mild glare at Lucian. Raevyn was well aware of the obvious. "I don't need you to point out the things I'm doing." He never stopped pacing once as he spoke, his footsteps silent as he strode back and forth. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I think my brother meant to ask why are you pacing?" Jennalin said softly, trying to prevent the fight that appeared to be stirring between the cats.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn paused, glancing at Jennalin, then resumed pacing. "Because Ashriel is scared of doctors. I don't want to leave her alone like that." He said quietly. Suddenly, the door opened and the tech came out. Raevyn was at his side in a second, glancing in. The technician laughed. "She can go back to the room. I'm just taking these to the doctor for him to look at." Raevyn didn't hear. He'd stopped listening after hearing Ashriel could go back. He hurried inside, to where Ashriel sat. "Ready to go back?" He asked with a small smile, a complete one-eighty from his attitude with Lucian. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded quickly. Yes, she wanted to go back. She wanted to stay by Raevyn. She wanted to leave this dreadful place.
