Ashriel relaxed almost immediately after he picked her up. She was getting slightly better about this hospital situation. Not much, but it was still a slight difference. When they sat down, Ash looked at Raevyn gently, her eyes gazing at his face. "It's fine..." She told him, smiling a shy smile.

Jennalin had followed Raevyn and Ash back, Lucian wandering off to try and find the restroom. That, or he might have decided to take it upon himself to make sure he got to pay the bill. Jen had shrugged when he had separated from the group - it was his own decision. She sat down next to Ash and Raevyn now, her eyes closing for the moment.

Ashriel watched the doctor as he came in, moving in tighter against Raevyn as she did so. What was it about that doctor in her childhood that made her so frightened of them now? She listened as she heard him say a bone was broken, another fractured. Uh-oh. Please, please be something that could heal quickly. Please.

Lucian managed to get to the front desk and spoke to the person that was doing payment. He grinned as he did so - she was fine with him paying for Ash's treatment, whatever it was, right then. He gave her his card number; it didn't matter how much it would end up costing. If he had been there earlier, it wouldn't have happened.

Ashriel looked at Raevyn. She wanted to say walking cast - that way she could take it off. But...what would he say if she said that? Besides, the name was a walking cast. Meaning she could probably walk in it. Plus, that way she could just put a shower bar up in her bathroom and then she could shower without Raevyn, no problem. Her eyes shut for a moment as she thought. "The walking cast sounds better to me..." She whispered to Raevyn, not wanting to actually speak to the doctor.

Lucian returned just as the doctor mentioned casting. Not good. He sighed lightly. None of the three were going back to the school until that was healed - unless he could find a way that he could be there everyday with his job. Perhaps he could get a new one?

Ashriel nodded to everything the doctor said. Did that mean that she could walk with it on? She kind of hoped so. The second Raevyn spoke to her, she nodded. She was way more than ready to go. "I've been ready to go since we got here."

Lucian simply grinned and nodded in a way that made it evident that he had paid. He moved to leave out the door, waiting for the others to follow

Ashriel calmed significantly the moment that they were out of the hospital. When Raevyn set her down, she smiled at him. Her breathing was slow, and she was staring at the cast on her left leg.

Lucian got into his car quietly, Jennalin sitting up front next to him. Before starting the car, Lucian spoke - his words mainly directed for Raevyn. "If it is alright with you, I would rather you three not go to school until either I can figure out a job that keeps me nearby enough that if you need help beyond what Raevyn can handle alone, I can be there quickly. Otherwise, I'd rather just go and pick up your schoolwork myself and bring it home for you to do." He told them, inserting his key into the ignition once he was finished speaking.

Lucian nodded, starting the car. "It is settled then. The girls are staying home with you until either this thing dies down or I can get a job in or by the school." He said, not bothering to let either Ashriel or Jennalin answer his question. Jennalin had just shrugged it off, as Lucian was technically her legal guardian in times like these.

Ashriel pouted, but she realized that she really had no choice in the matter anyway. She looked at Raevyn as the car started to move.

Ashriel nodded, looking at Raevyn again. "Yeah, I know...but it doesn't mean I like it." After all, this last attack happened at school, and who knows how many more weres there were that wanted her. She sighed lightly, her eyes staying on Raevyn.
