The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn seemed to curl in on himself. "The gods hate me. I just know it." He muttered, then crawled off her lap and shifted forms. He sighed. "Let's get the torture over with." He said, then scooped Ashriel up. He carried her to the bathroom where he carefully set her on her feet where she could use the counter for balance. "Please tell me you can handle the rest from here...." He said, trying not to sound like he was pleading. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded. "Of course I can." She told him, shooing him out of the restroom after he set her down. Once he was out, and the door was shut, she had no problems finishing up in there. Finished, she hopped towards the door, putting minimal weight on her left foot. She opened it and smiled at him, her face still red.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed in relief, leaving with a muttered "Thank you....." He waited outside the door until Ashriel was done. Carrying her back to the living room, he muttered to her, "I swear you are out to embarrass me to death." A wicked smirk showed he was just teasing her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel blushed again as Raevyn spoke to her. "And you don't think I'm embarrassed?" She questioned him in response.
Jennalin was in the kitchen, laughing. She opened the fridge, deciding to make the three of them dinner. It was already six, after all. --to the bathroom? Don't you mean living room or bedroom?--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... (( Whoops. Totally missed that somehow. I fixed it.))
Raevyn just chuckled lightly. "No. You're too busy being amused at a poor boy's amusement." He said with a smirk. He glanced between the living room and kitchen. "Couch or table?" He asked, then raised his voice and added to Jennalin, "Mess up my kitchen it won't be the other were's you need to watch out for. It'll be me!" He threatened her playfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laughed, hugging him tight. "Table's fine. I wanna work on my sketches some more." She smiled at him, thinking for a moment. "How could I not be amused?"
Jennalin glanced at Raevyn. She was filling a pot off water, so she was looking back over her shoulder. "Relax, I'm only making dinner. Besides, isn't this Ash's kitchen? Now you are claiming her things for yourself? Isn't that rude?" Jen grinned at her words. She was only teasing the cat.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned at Ashriel, carrying her into the kitchen and setting her down at the table. Glancing at Jennalin, he snorted. "Please. Ash sucks at cooking. I cook all the meals around here. Therefore, it's my kitchen. Besides, I pay for my own stuff around here, so I reserve the right to claim some of it as mine." He told her, rolling his eyes playfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's jaw dropped at what Raevyn said, and she frowned after she closed it. "Apparently my cooking sucks now. That makes me feel wonderful." She pouted, and Jennalin was doing all that she could not to burst out laughing at Raevyn's misplaced words.
Jen continued to turn on the stove and turn to cutting up veggies, glancing at Raevyn for only a moment before looking back down at what she was doing. "Well, I'm still going to cook dinner. You look like you are pretty busy already."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled, dropping a light kiss onto the top of Ashriel's head. "Sorry darling, but I'm better at it." He told her, not sounding apologetic at all. Hearing Jennalin's words though, he glanced at her. "Busy?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "And just how am I busy? Ash is seated for now." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin finished cutting the vegetables and laughed as she let them splash into the boiling water. "Believe me, for now is the key part of what you said." She looked around, flustered now, opening up random cupboards. "I don't suppose you guys have any noodles." And with just that, it became evident that she was attempting - and failing - to make chicken noodle soup.
Ashriel shook her head. "No, I'm better!" She declared, standing up abruptly. Sure, it hurt, but she was using the table for support. She was red from Raevyn's kiss, but she was still standing, obviously planning to make a move for her small kitchen.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hissed mildly as she stood up. "Sit down!" He ordered her, slapping the table. "I will help Jen with the soup, you sit your butt right back down and work on your damn drawings." He was clearly not pleased with her attempt to get up and go to the kitchen. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sat back down quietly, a frown developing slowly on her face. She didn't touch her drawings; instead, she watched Jennalin with full intent. Deciding that it was no fun to watch her friend, she pulled out the wolf again, focusing on the aura that she'd been sketching off to the side. Why was it there? There shouldn't have been anything. Yet, she distinctly remembered it being there. So, had there been two that night?
Jennalin's head turned as she heard Raevyn. She glanced at Ashriel, who had withdrawn. Wow...she actually LISTENED to Raevyn. Lucian could do the same thing, but Ash would never listen to her brother. Raevyn really was good for her, and Jennalin could see it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn softened as Ashriel listened to him. "Thank you." He murmured quietly. Satisfied that she would be content for awhile, he moved into the kitchen. "I'll take over this if you want to join her." He offered to Jennalin, kneeling and digging into the back of one of the low cupboards, pulling out some packages of noodles. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin nodded quietly, looking at Raevyn now. She whispered something so quiet to him that there was no physical possibility of Ashriel overhearing. "I don't care what you think, or what you might say or do. You are good for her. She actually listens to you; she cares about you. I can see that. And I swear, if you break her, I will get you." The best friend threat. The one every girl has to make to her best friend's boyfriend. And this was the first time Jen had gotten to make it.
Jennalin walked over to sit by Ashriel now, looking at the colored drawing. She pointed to the wolf. "Is that the wolf?" Her calm, collected voice questioned her friend. Ashriel nodded. "What's that?" Another question; this time Jen was pointing at the mysterious glow in the background. Ashriel shrugged.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at Jennalin as she whispered. His amber eyes were bleak and serious. "I'm trying not to, though I don't know how well it's working." He murmured with a sigh. While Jennalin's words were reassuring, it was still hard to forget all the pain and tears he'd caused Ashriel. He was trying, really he was. He just....was still learning. He was still very young by were standards, hardly more than a child rather than the adult he seemed. Turning away from the girls, he set to work on the soup, fixing what he could from Jennalin's work. The tiger that should be....isn't....
