The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded, worry in his amber eyes. Gently, he picked up Ashriel, taking her to the living room and laying her down. "Just rest." He murmured to her, kissing her forehead lightly before rising. He hurried back to the kitchen to grab a cloth, wetting it down and wringing it out until it was damp and not soaked. He grabbed the small garbage can from under the sink as well when he returned to the living room. Setting the can down, he carefully laid the cloth across Ashriel's forehead. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel laid down quietly on the couch after Raevyn set her down, not contesting at all. Jennalin monitored as Raevyn did what she had told him to do, nodding in approval. "Now all you can do is watch and make sure she doesn't sweat or shiver. If she shivers, take off the cloth for a few minutes and give her a blanket. If she sweats, make sure that she has no blanket on, and that the cloth is as cold as possible." Jen explained to Raevyn, just as a knock could be heard on the door. "That's probably Lucian, now."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Alright." Raevyn murmured, settling down to sit on the floor beside Ashriel's head. He barely glanced at Jennalin. "Check the peep hole first." He reminded her absently, more worried about Ashriel than who was possibly at the door. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin nodded, looking out the peephole. It was, indeed, just Lucian. She opened the door, her brother raising his eyebrows at Ashriel. "She's sick." Jen informed him, and he slowly entered, his arm around his sister's shoulder.
Lucian's eyes looked to Raevyn quietly, before he approached him. "If you need anything, I can watch the girls for a bit." He told the other cat, his eyes looking at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn stayed where he was, seated on the floor beside Ashriel. "Mm-hm. I'm staying here." He said firmly, glancing at Ash. "You and Jennalin can go if you want though. I won't keep you here. But I don't want to leave her." His voice was soft but determined. He wouldn't be easily swayed from his decision. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded at Raevyn, thinking for a moment. "So how did it go after I dropped you three off?" He questioned, only to make sure that he was on top of things.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn relaxed as he realized Lucian wouldn't make him leave. "Quiet." He told the other cat easily. "We found something out though. That bear? He was watching the night the wolf attacked Ash." He didn't have to tell Lucian how strange that was, that the bear hadn't attacked as well. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian's eyes widened immediately. "Are you sure?" He questioned Raevyn, frowning. That could mean...

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shrugged lightly and glanced at Ashriel. "She said so and I trust her. She said she could see his aura in the background. I've no reason to doubt her over this so I won't." He told Lucian simply. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian cursed, looking at Raevyn. "Oh, God, no. Please, please, let this not be for the same reason I think this might be." He said aloud, shifting between his feet now. He let go of his grasp of his sister, his eyes glued on Raevyn. "And he didn't make any move to aid the wolf?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "None at all." Raevyn nodded, confirming it. "What are you thinking the reason is?" He asked, his amber eyes cold. He wanted to know and he wanted to know right now what Lucian had done. If it was just Lucian and maybe Jen too, then he could keep his secret. But now Ashriel was being dragged into this dangerous game of his. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian glanced at his sister for a moment, and she nodded, hurrying into the bathroom. Luke whispered a response to Raevyn's question. "When Jen was just two or three, and I was seven, a big, huge rhino attacked her - the leader of a nearby were gang. I was the only one with her, so I did the only thing I could think of. I changed into my tiger form, and, while attempting to subdue the rhino from hurting my sister, I bit its jugular. Quickly, it died...but not without other weres from his gang figuring out that it had been me. My parents managed to protect me while they were around, but they wanted to go with their jobs, do what they wanted to do. So I told them it was fine to leave me alone...but...it appears that the gang has remembered." He explained quickly. His eyes glanced regretfully to Ashriel. He'd been just a child. Why were there still repercussions so great today?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Great. Just great. You killed one of them dammit!" He let out a string of colorful curses, enough to impress a sailor. This was bad. This was very bad. When he'd run out of curses, he glared up at Lucian. "And now they've dragged Ashriel into it too." His voice, though soft, was furious. Suddenly, he sighed, the anger draining out of him. He couldn't really blame Lucian for what he'd done. He'd been protecting his sister. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin came out of the bathroom, having heard the first thing that Raevyn had said. Her brother...kill...another? No... It couldn't be. Lucian spotted her come out, and he looked at Raevyn. He was quiet as he spoke again. "I was hoping that Jen wouldn't ever find out. That rhino was about to kill her, for Pete's sake! He told Raevyn softly, looking between Ashriel and Jennalin. This made it harder, to know that they'd remembered him, not just Jen.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Yeah well she's part of this mess too!" Raevyn snapped at the other cat. "She deserves to know why the hell we're stuck in an apartment, afraid to leave and risk being attacked!" He snarled the words. His temper was completely frayed, between Ashriel being hurt and sick, having to work with Lucian, being stuck in the apartment, being afraid for Ash, and everything else that had been happening. The tiger that should be....isn't....
