Jennalin looked between the two cats, and she walked over to sit by Ash, watching over her friend. Apparently this had been her fault too. That was wonderful. "I'm sorry, Ashriel." She whispered into her friend's ear, like they had done as just children.
Lucian looked at Raevyn. "Would you be able to admit to Ashriel that you killed someone to protect her? How would she react? The crime would no longer be yours to blame in her eyes; it would be her own, wouldn't it? Yet, you know that it would have nothing to do with her. Think about what Jennalin just heard. Guess at how my little sister - already worried for her best friend - feels, if a measure taken to protect her sixteen years ago has caused an attack on Ash today. Just think about that."

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I don't care!" Raevyn yelled at Lucian. The cat had a nasty temper at times and right now his patience was short. "All I know is your stupid mistake is hurting Ashriel!" He was on his feet now, snarling at the other cat. "This is ridiculous that she has to pay the price of you stupid move!" Logically he knew Lucian was right but at this point in time he wasn't thinking very logically.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Unlike Raevyn, Lucian remained calm and cool. Perhaps that was a trait that Jen had picked up from their family. "I was seven. Are you saying that a mistake I made sixteen years ago, when I was only seven, is going to lead you to arguing with me, when we should be worrying about the girls?" He tried to direct Lucian's attention back to Ashriel, who Jennalin was now covering with a blanket.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I'm saying I resent being drawn into your mess!" Raevyn growled the words but he was already turning back to Ashriel. His anger vanished to be replaced by worry as he saw the blanket Jennalin was putting over Ash. He knelt down beside the girl's head, touching her cheek lightly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shivered the minute that Raevyn's hand touched her skin. Her skin, at that moment, felt cold. It was a lot cooler than usual. "She has the chills now, and all you two are accomplishing is fighting. Can at least one of you go see if she has any fever reducer? That should make it so that we can steady her temperature, in the very least." Jennalin asked of the guys, and Lucian looked at Raevyn cluelessly.
"I wouldn't know where she would keep it." He admitted, looking at the girls with a guilty look.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Um...." Raevyn glanced between Lucian and Jennalin. "What's a fever reducer actually look like?" He asked, ashamed of his lack of knowledge. It was times like this that made people remember he wasn't quite human. "I know what they are but most pills and drugs are toxic to us. I can't tell one pill from another." He said with a faint blush. Having lived on his own or with other weres for the most part, he hadn't really had to deal with various medications. Especially considering, as he'd said, most were toxic to weres. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin glanced at Raevyn, sighing lightly. "Look and see if she has a bottle labeled 'Tylenol'. That is a fever reducer." Her focus was on watching for Ashriel to sweat.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded and climbed to his feet, still embarrassed over his lack of knowledge. He went into the bathroom, digging in the medicine cabinet. He looked at each bottle carefully before dismissing it. He brightened up when he found one with the proper label. Taking it back to Jennalin, he offered her the bottle. "That the stuff you mean?" he asked hesitantly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded and hurried to the kitchen, filling a glass with water. He struggled with the odd top on the bottle of pills for a minute before he got it off. He returned, holding out the water and two pills. He glanced at Ashriel, wondering if she was awake enough to take them herself. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin put her hands onto Ashriel, shaking her lightly. "Ashriel, wake up. I need you to eat something." The minute that Jen said eat, Ashriel was awake and looking at Jennalin.
Ashriel looked at her friend quietly. "Wha?" She asked aloud, and Jennalin nodded to Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn moved to kneel beside Ashriel. "I need you to take these pills." He told her quietly, holding them out in one hand. His other hand offered the glass of water. "Please, just take them without fighting me for once." He pleaded softly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took the pills quietly, hearing his voice. She then took the water, drinking about half of it before handing the glass back to Raevyn. Lucian looked at his sister after a moment. Wasn't she supposed to drink the entire glass?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn, oblivious as to what should and shouldn't be done, took the glass and set it aside. "Thank you. Just rest now Ashriel. Rest and get better." He murmured to her, smoothing away her hair and kissing her forehead lightly. He seemed so gently, such a turnabout from the raging person who'd been yelling at Lucian only moments ago. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin shook her head. "Raevyn, she needs to drink all of it. That's why I said a LARGE glass." She told Raevyn, knowing that she would have trouble convincing her friend to drink.
