Ashriel didn't notice Raevyn until after she was back by the door. She'd already checked out, and he had as well. She only turned around to wait for him; to her surprise, he was right there already.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned at her. "Told you I'd find you." He told her with a grin. He had made sure to get a bag for his books so Ashriel didn't see the titles. He held out his hand to her. "Here. I'll carry those. No sense making it even harder for you to walk, using those stupid crutches."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, conceding. "Can we get something to eat?" She asked as she handed the books to Raevyn before heading out of the door.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded easily, taking the books. "Sure. Where do you want to go?" He asked, not really sure of any good places to eat. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned lightly, thinking for a moment. "Hacienda!" She declared, setting down the street toward the restaurant.

Raevyn looked confused but followed her. "Um.....Okay? Whatever that place is." He said, baffled as he followed her.

Ashriel grinned, walking into the Mexican restaurant. She went up to the register. "Table for two, please." She said, the waitress then leading them to a corner booth - the kind that was all one seat.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked around as they entered the restaurant. He slid nervously into the seat, eying the rest of the restaurant. "Um.....Did it have to be restaurant?" He asked quietly, glancing around, on edge. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn before looking down. "Sorry, it's just been so long since I last went out to eat - I missed it. It's not like anyone can attack with all these people around." She told him quietly, scooting into the booth to sit right next to him. "But if you want to just go home, we can..." She offered reluctantly.

Raevyn had moved so he was sitting with the entire restaurant laid out before him. He put and arm around Ashriel's shoulder. "No, this is where you wanted to eat, so this is where we'll eat." He could hear the reluctance in her voice about going home. "Sorry. Places like this make me nervous, that's all." He confessed quietly.

Ashriel looked up at him. "Sorry." She apologized, looking over the menu. Chips and salsa were placed in front of them, and she smiled at Raevyn lightly, reaching out for a chip.

Raevyn tightened his grip on her briefly in a one armed hug. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing. Just pick something you like. And advise me, cause I've never eaten Mexican." He told her with a small laugh, trying to cheer her up.

Ashriel nodded before handing a chip covered in salsa up to him. "Well, start by trying this." She said, before the waitress came back and asked what they wanted to drink. "Unsweetened Iced Tea. And could I get some of the red hot sauce? And a bowl of ranch? Also, another bowl of the salsa." She told the waitress before looking at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "um....." Raevyn looked nervous, flicking the pages of the menu back and forth. "Just a sweetened ice tea I guess." He decided finally, not looking at the waitress. He watched her from the corner of his eye instead. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn as the waitress veered off to get their drinks. "Try the salsa to start. Then...they have chicken enchiladas. I think you'd like that..." She told him, her eyes looking at his face. "What's wrong? I mean, why are you so nervous?"
