The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, scrubbing at his face. He'd hoped she wouldn't ask him. "It's just.....Ah, never mind. It doesn't really matter." He told her, grabbing a chip and trying a little bit of the salsa. Finding it wasn't too bad, he started eating more of it. He mostly watched the table, but every now and then his eyes would flicker across the restaurant. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn softly, hugging him lightly. "I'm sure it matters, otherwise you wouldn't be so nervous." She pressed further before grabbing herself another chip. Smiling as the waitress brought them their drinks and the things she asked for, she requested a little extra time. Taking the ranch, she poured it into the secondary salsa, along with several drops of hot sauce. She stirred the mixture with a chip, making a deep pink color. After the dip was stirred, she took a big bite, laughing when she was finished.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked warily at her own mixture, then decided to stick to his own stuff. He didn't like the spicy scent of hers. "I'm fine. It's nothing to worry about." He told her dismissively, trying to force himself to look relaxed. While his body was mostly relaxed, he was tapping the table with one hand, his eyes still flickering occasionally. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, taking another bite. "You know, you are being a liar and a hypocrite. What happened to wanting me to tell you when something was wrong? Is it really fair to expect that of me if I can't expect it of you?" She questioned him, falling silent as soon as she was finished saying that. Continuing to eat, her eyes scanned over Raevyn's facial expression.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn actually blushed at her little speech. He hung his head, fiddling with a chip in his hands. "You're right." He whispered. "I just.....It's embarrassing, okay? I've never been in a restaurant before. Having so many people around makes me nervous." He was fine with being in a store, but that was a different thing to him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, hugging him tight. "See, that wasn't so bad. And there is a first time for everything. Just relax - it'll be fine." She kissed him on his cheek lightly as she sat there, releasing the hug after a few minutes to take a sip of her drink.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn gave a half-smile in return. "I suppose so." He took a deep breath, focusing on Ashriel's scent and forcing himself to calm down. He finally relaxed, his hand stopped it's tapping and he stopped scanning the restaurant. He began looking through the menu - Really looking this time, actually reading and paying attention to what was listed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The waitress came by once more, asking if they were ready to order. Ashriel looked at Raevyn softly. "I'm ready if you are." She told him, grinning. She'd missed going out to eat, and she doubted that she would be able to get out of the house on her birthday, so she would just stick to this.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded, glancing at the waitress. "I'll have the chicken en....ench....enc.....This thingy." He pointed to the menu, fumbling over the words. He pointed to the chicken enchiladas. "Stupid words...." He muttered under his breath. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel giggled as Raevyn stumbled over the word. "And I'll have a ground beef wet burrito." The waitress nodded, hurrying off with their orders; Ashriel continued to giggle.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at Ashriel. "Stop it." He told her, clearly sulking. "I've never seen that word before, okay? I have no idea what the hell I just ordered." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel stopped giggling the moment she felt his glare. Now she felt bad. "Sorry...I didn't know..." She thought for a moment. "You ordered the thing I told you you'd probably like earlier."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn continued to sulk. "Yeah, and I have no idea what it is other than the fact that you suggested it." He told her, leaning back against the backrest and crossing his arms. It said a lot for his opinion of Ashriel though, that he was willing to blindly order on her suggestion. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned as he continued to sulk. She looked at him softly. "Come on, I'm sure you'll like it...just...don't sulk..." She cooed, her eyes soft.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at Ashriel but he softened when he saw the look in her eyes. It was hard to refuse when she looked like that. "....Fine....." He said, moving to rest his elbows on the table, head in his hands. While he still wasn't the happiest, he wasn't sulking anymore. He took the straw from his drink and put it into his mouth, playing with it idly. The tiger that should be....isn't....
