Not a poem, a very importat event. It's linked to in the first post ^_^ Basically a group of steward era men were fed up with the corrupt british government and so decided to blow up the parliment. Guy Fawks, their leader, was caught moments before detonating the gunpowder. We celebrate this in Britain by lighting a bonfire, putting a scarecrow- esque "Guy" on the bonfire and light it up. We set off fireworks too to represent the explosion that coulda happened ^_^

so I'm Ben and I won the challenge for big ben... Sounds like it was meant to be. On another note.

I still love this holiday, and I hope to visit england some time to attend it. It just seems like so much fun!

You should come over to good ol' Blighty. So long as you find a good place the fireworks can be truly spectacular! Sparklers, cathrine wheels and rockets... Ahh good times ^_^ Not to mention watching the Guy burn. And the barbeque to much on as you watch biggrin
