The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at Ashriel, then blushed. "I haven't felt this out of sorts with anything for years." He muttered then began to eat his food. He chewed it thoughtfully then swallowed. "Not bad. Better than I was expecting for something I couldn't pronounce." He said with a grin. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's grin widened when she saw Raevyn's grin. "I'm glad you like it." She told him, taking another bite of her own food. At least he seemed happy. It made her feel better, seeing him grin. It really did. --I'm going to bed in a few minutes. I may or may not get another post in.--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Alright. Goodnight.))
Raevyn chuckled lightly, eating his food. "I did good when I followed your advice." He said with a smile, munching happily on his food. Every now and then his eyes would flicker across the restaurant but it seemed more of a reflexive action than actual nervousness. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned as Raevyn spoke. At least he seemed more relaxed. "Of course you did - I'm always right." She said proudly, now half way done with her huge dish.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes. "So you like to think." He told her with a smirk, eating his food. He was finding it quite good, better than he had expected to be sure. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned at Raevyn. "No, so I know!" She told him, smiling. Eating quickly, she took a sip of her drink, only half done with her drink with only a quarter of her burrito left.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just shook his head theatrically. "You poor girl. I'll just leave you to your delusions." He said with a laugh, popping the last bite of his enchilada into his mouth. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel finished off her burrito, grinning as the waitress brought their bill. Before she could leave, Ash skimmed the bill quickly, handing it back with her debit card. "I'm paying." She decided as the waitress walked off.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hey!" Raevyn protested but the waitress had already walked off. "Dammit Ashriel. I thought we agreed I paid for food!" He huffed, annoyed that she'd paid before he had the chance to. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked Raevyn softly. "But...you pay for everything...I just wanted to pay for one meal. Sorry..." Was there no not feeling awful? If she didn't pay, she felt guilty. If she did pay, she annoyed him. There was just no winning with this.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I do not pay for everything!" Raevyn growled, then sighed, seeing the look on her face. "I'm sorry." He whispered, leaning over to pull her into a hug. "I'm not mad. I promise." He said soothingly. "I just need to stop putting my foot in my mouth." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's face peaked into a smile once he'd pulled her into the hug. "It's...fine. I just...feel guilty when you pay for all the food, like you paid for the couch." She pointed out, looking up at him now. "I wanted to pay a portion. At least this." Her voice was soft, gentle. It seemed odd to her to not be paying for as much as she had been for the past year.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Fine, fine." Raevyn said with a sigh. "But you're paying my rent, so I have to do something to make it up for you." He told her by way of explanation. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded in understanding. "I didn't think of it that way...but...I have to admit, I'm almost out of money, due to the fact that I can't work right now." She admitted, looking at him. She seemed reluctant to actually tell him, but she knew that it was actually important. "I didn't want to tell you until I was actually out...but since you bring it up, I figured I should tell you now that I only have a hundred left." Her teeth moved to biting her lip yet again.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... He touched her lip lightly with one finger. "What have I told you about doing that?" He asked softly, then sighed. "I have enough currently to cover the next rent." He told her, then added. "You're going to have to come to work with me though. I can't leave you alone and I can't quit." Not when they needed the money. "Besides, no fights start under Mama's roof. Did you notice that? All that time and not a single bar fight. There's a reason that place is called Sanctuary. No were will break the rules of a Sanctuary, since there's so few of them." The tiger that should be....isn't....
