 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn brightened, knowing Ashriel would like this. He deemed it important enough to not shoot the people. Instead he opened the door and moved out of way, gesturing towards the living room. It seemed like chance, but Raevyn had moved to the side that put him between the girls and the movers.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The movers carried in the couch, setting it down in the living room just in front of the old one. Honestly, there was enough room in there for two couches, but it was evident that Ashriel was going to want to get rid of the old one. Once the couch was set down, one of the movers glared at Raevyn before they left. Oblivious Ashriel grinned as she saw the couch - it was so nice! She ate quickly, eager to try it out.
Jennalin, however, looked completely confused by the arrival of the new couch. She looked at Raevyn in her confusion, hoping he might explain to her what had just happened.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow at the glare, wondering what he'd done to deserve it. He shrugged then closed and locked the door behind the movers. Going into the living room, he pushed the old one against the far wall, out of the way. "I'll get it out of here when Lucian comes back." He told Ashriel, not wanting to leave them alone for even a moment. Catching Jennalin's confused look, he shrugged. "She wanted a new couch so we went out and bought one." He explained as if it should have been obvious. He returned to the table, eating his soup. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled, finishing her food already. She went to stand up as Jennalin frowned at her. "I think you've walked enough today." She stated, going back to eat a little more. The now confused Ashriel stayed seated, looking at Jennalin quietly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes at Ashriel. "Sit down. That couch isn't going to run away. You can relax and wait till we finish eating." He told her firmly, eating his soup at a relaxed pace. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn quietly and nodded, grabbing her sketchpad, which she'd left by the table before. She began drawing quietly. The image was of her pond and tree, along with Raevyn blocking the view of her old house.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ate without rushing. Like he'd said, the couch wasn't going anywhere. When he'd finished, he gathered up the empty bowls and put them in the sink. Coming back to the table, he smiled at Ashriel. "Ready to try out your new couch? Or should I just do the dishes first?" He asked teasingly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked up at Raevyn softly. "As if the answer isn't obvious!" She said, looking as if she'd stand up herself if he didn't take her over in the next few moments. "I want to try it out!" If he'd bought it, she'd better use it plenty - otherwise, she'd just feel bad about it just sitting there.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn broke out laughing. Oh he'd known what her answer would be. He was just being amused with teasing her. Carefully, he picked her up from the chair. "Alright, alright. Just hold your horses and relax." He said with a smile. He carried her over to the couch, setting her down on the cushions before taking a step back. "There. Happy? You have a new couch." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn happily after she'd sat down. "Yes, I'm happy now." She told him. Jennalin was already at the sink, doing the dishes. "But I'd be happier if you sat down with me." She spoke gleefully, knowing that he'd only backed away so that he could do the dishes.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled softly, glad she was happy. He looked surprised at her next words. Glancing back towards the kitchen, he sighed as he saw Jennalin doing the dishes. Shaking his head, he turned his amber gaze back to Ashriel and smiled. "Very well." He said softly, and came to sit down beside her, slipping an arm over her shoulder. "Better?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned as he wrapped his arm around her. "Much." She said softly, looking up into his eyes. Leaning up to him, she pecked his cheek, a smile still pasted smoothly onto her face.

Ashriel looked at him, smiling. Then she heard the 'my'. "Yours?" She questioned, now frowning slightly. "You don't own me." Now she moved to stand up, obviously a little mad at the sentence.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blinked. Had he said it like that? Huh. So he had. Hastily, he moved, standing up and stepping away so Ashriel didn't need to stand. "I'm sorry alright? I didn't mean it like that." He apologized profusely. "It's just habit. Anything with my scent on it is mine. And, and.....nevermind. But it was an accident, alright?" The tiger that should be....isn't....
