 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn reached out a paw to touch her lip, silently telling her to stop biting it. He sighed at her response, returning to his relaxed position around her neck, a living heat pack. One ear followed Jennalin's progress, keeping tabs on her out of habit now. "Well, if you say so. I won't argue with you."  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel stopped biting her lip when his paw touched it, only then noticing that she had been. She smiled lightly at his answer. "Come on, you know I'm right. I always am!" She decided, her eyes looking out the window now.
In the bathroom, Jennalin was whispering to the mirror, knowing that Raevyn could hear her. "If I bought Ash a t.v. for her birthday, would you help Luke bring it up?" She was only loud enough for Raevyn to hear - she'd gotten used to the range of hearing. By just saying that he would need to help Lucian bring it up hinted at the size that she was planning to buy.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blinked in surprise, turning to face the bathroom for a moment. Then he looked back to Ashriel, answering Jennalin so only she could hear. "Sure. Just don't let me be here to hear the fuss you know she's gonna kick up." He told her teasingly. That said, he returned his attention to Ashriel. "Bullshit. I call bullshit on that!" He said laughingly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin grinned at Raevyn's response. "Easy enough. Just leave for a little bit, then. Go do the shopping. Pick up a cake after you bring up the present." She whispered, still smiling.
Ashriel looked at Raevyn again now, smiling. "Oh, no, you know that it is true!" She declared, reaching up to scratch between his ears, grinning.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Sounds good." Raevyn answered Jennalin easily. He began involuntarily purring as Ashriel scratched his ears. "It is not true. You're not always right. I'm right more often than you!" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned. "It sounds more like you agree with me." She commented, laughing at his purring. It did sound like agreement - and she kept it up at scratching between his ears.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I'm not agreeing with you." Raevyn told her, though his voice didn't have nearly the force as before, relaxed by her touch. "I'm only purring cause you're scratching my ears and you know it....." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel grinned quietly. "Sure, sure, whatever you say." She whispered, continuing to scratch; she was acting as if she didn't believe him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "You know....." Raevyn drawled, his voice relaxed and his eyes half closed. "If I wasn't so relaxed, I might take offense at your tone. You don't believe me." He told her calmly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled softly, and she stopped scratching him for a moment to kiss him lightly on the nose. "How do you know that I don't?" She questioned teasingly, going back to scratching him lightly. Jennalin came back in giggling lightly, and she sat down on the couch, taking out her book that she'd brought for the day.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn twitched his whiskers at the kiss. "You don't sound like you do." He informed her in his lazy drawl. "But I'm too relaxed to care." He said bluntly, still purring away loudly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted then. "So you can't tell when I'm acting..." She bit her lip again, this time realizing that she was doing so. She just plain didn't care at this point as she continued to scratch him anyway.

Things do always make the most sense when I'm relaxed. I just say whatever comes to mind." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded quietly, looking at Raevyn now. "I think I need some more sleep..." She muttered, although it was apparent that she was just still a bit upset and didn't want to stay awake.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn curled tighter around her neck briefly, a kind of hug. "I'm sorry." He murmured then licked her cheek. "Sleep well." He slid off her neck, moving to sit on the floor instead so he wouldn't bother Ashriel. He could feel she was still upset at him. The tiger that should be....isn't....
