Naturally, while they're busy telling a tale of woe at the cantina, the wookies bump into the hyperdrive again and get into the food supplies (it seems they've eaten an entire half ton in the last few days.) oh well, at least it's no great loss.

Billy still has no idea what his lover's first heartbreak has to do with a burning hatred against bounty hunters.
"The second part of this tale starts when I was ten cycles old- oh, that's about 15 or so in Earth years. My parents wanted to set me up with some noble so we could have at least one heir; at least in our culture they were kind enough to let me choose my future spouse. It's something like your silly Terran Bachelor and Bachelorette shows." They describe each of the suitable suitors briefly; Billy makes dumb comments about how he should've been there on group dates. They can't even comment.
Still nothing to do with bounty hunters yet. Unfortunately this time they're so enrapt in the tale about royal love, the imperial scum catch up momentarily; fortunately, the cargo is hidden in many different compartments. They even offer another half ton of spoiled goods, pretending they didn't notice it was going bad.

Princep L'pra needs to focus on the smuggling as well, not just their tragic tale.
"I did find somebody I loved, the problem is that it's usually too good to be true. He/they were perfect- too good- an undercover operative working with the rebellion. We were engaged, but of COURSE he could only stay a while, they had to go back out and fight against the evil imperial forces. A few months of a perfect relationship, where he trained me more in the ways of the force. A few months where we were happy- at least for a while. A few months before they went out and were ambushed by evil bounty hunters, paid off by the evil imperial trash."
Now everything makes sense. Billy sits silently, respectfully. Even Woody is quiet and contemplative. They repeat their story for the wookies as well. They can't even blame the prince(ss) for feeling the need to donate some of their scavenged spoils to help the needy, and at least they found some good stuff.
