My Chinese zodiac is Earth Snake.
Yeah, most people just say their animal zodiac for the Chinese astrology. But they don't realize there's also elements assigned to each year.

Then with the Native American astrology, my zodiac sign is Deer (or Elk) and Woodpecker. Like the Western zodiac, I'm born on a cusp.

My Tibetan zodiac sign is Snake.
Apparently it combines Buddhism Karma with Chinese astrology... hence the same animals, I guess.

I have quite a bit of stuff to do today. Finish reading House Made of Dawn, and read poems by Momaday. Then write a CR for them.
And possibly start working on my essay for class, since that will be due within the next week or so.

There is so much about this class that I have to critique about. whee
- The syllabus needs to be organized better. Just simply list what is being done, and what is due. All additional information should be located with the other section where it goes into full detail about what to do for them. Makes the schedule look much better, and doesn't cause so much confusion. - Provide more time for students to write their essay. Barely within the second week, and already we have an essay to look towards working on. - Get rid of the Writing Tutor's signature requirement. People have to go out of their way to get this signature, which may be hard to do if they have other classes and/or work that prevent them from getting around to it, when the place is open. True, there's an online contact, but once again, there's the issue of people getting a way of on a computer and online; some students don't have computers/internet at home, and have to go to school for it. - Better idea to use instead of the above is have an in class workshop. Sometimes its better to get multiple point of views on a person's thesis statement (especially people who are at different levels of writing and of different major areas) creates a better formed essay, than one person's point of view - a Writing Tutor. - Teacher ~ be more open-minded to people's idea/thoughts/opinions... and stop interrupting people with random tangent ideas. If you keep interrupting and never come back, you'll never get the whole thought that the student wanted to say ((This is what happened to me...))

Yeah... this class isn't getting a good of a review as my Austen class did. Austen class got an A+. This class... hmm... it's grade is slowly going down and down as time goes by.

I'll probably do the same thing I did last time when I was reading the required books - post my comments here, and then base my CR around what I've said. 3nodding
Plus I get gold while doing it, lol. xd
