The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled, glad to be out in the fresh air. It was subtle, but to those who knew him, he seemed more relaxed then ever. There was no slight tenseness to his muscles and he seemed more willing to smile and laugh. As they entered the park, he looked around, seeing the paths. There were gardens of flowers, clusters of trees, and picnic benches scattered everywhere. "Well? Where to?" He asked, glancing down at Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled brightly, taking a deep breath of the sweet scented air. "The trees, of course!" She exclaimed, leaving him on towards them as she said such. Now she could sit with him, under a tree, and smile. Jennalin was grinning lightly at Ashriel - it had been a while since she'd really seen Ashriel hyper and happy. It was nice to see.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Good." Raevyn said with a grin. "If you'd picked anywhere else, I'd have to whine until you changed your choice to the trees." He told her with a laugh. They walked over to the trees, Raevyn looking around for something in particular. Spotting it, he grinned widely. "Wanna sit at the base of a tree? Or IN the tree?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn curiously. "We can sit IN a tree?" She asked, in complete awe. "That sounds awesome!" She declared, grinning broadly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Well, not really inside it, like I think you thought I meant. But yes, I can help you up into the branches." Raevyn said, leading her over to a tree who's first branch was just above his head. "Here Jen. Hold her steady for a moment." He passed off Ashriel to the other girl before swinging himself up. He crouched on the branch and reached down to Ashriel, grasping her hands. "Ready?" He asked with a grin. He stood up suddenly, pulling Ashriel up and catching her before lightly setting her on the branch. "You want up too Jen?" He asked, glancing down at her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel still seemed excited. "Wow, this is amazing." She said, once she was up on the tree. Her eyes looked down at Jennalin, who was currently shaking her head.
"Bad experiences with tree branches. Luke thought it would be funny to put me into a tree and let me squirm when I was six. I fell. Yeah. No." She explained, leaning against the bottom of that same tree.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Have fun down there then." Raevyn said agreeably. He didn't think anything would happen in a public park. Besides, he could get down fast enough to help her anyways. Turning back to Ashriel, he grinned at her. "Wanna go higher?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked down, then to Raevyn. "Yeah." She decided, smiling up at him. It was nice in this tree - and she would definitely enjoy sitting up there.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Great! Here. Hold the tree then, for balance." Raevyn said with a smile, leading her over to the truck. He gracefully hauled himself up another branch then held out his hands for Ashriel. "Upsy-daisy!" He said cheerfully, pulling her up. He did this several times until they were up quite high. There he stopped and asked Ashriel, "High enough for you?" He balanced easily on the branch, looking over the park. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as she was up there, looking about. "Yup. it's amazing." She answered, grinning up at him. her balance wasn't the best, but she was managing it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled, glad that she was happy. He moved to sit against the tree truck, tugging Ashriel down with him. He sat, straddling the branch, with her in front of him. He kept his arms around her waist, holding her close. "I love being up high. It's so peaceful. People rarely look up." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, leaning back against him. For some reason, in his arms, she wasn't afraid of falling at all. "It's calm...and private." She smiled, turning her head to see his face.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled, closing his eyes as he relaxed. "Yeah. Especially at the higher levels. Cause then, even if people look up, all they see is tree branches." He was quiet for a minute, then told her, "I used to climb up somewhere high whenever I wanted to think or just get away from everything." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel turned her head back forward, closing her own eyes as she leaned against him, listening to his voice. "Sounds kind of like how I always go and sit beneath a tree." She said softly, happily in his arms. It was peaceful; she wanted this to stay the same forever, never have to go away from him. She felt safe, like nothing could ever hurt her. Absolutely nothing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Yeah. Same idea." Raevyn murmured quietly. "I used to do that too, but I found I was disturbed by others less if I retreated into the tree, rather than just sitting at the bottom." He glanced down to where Jennalin could just barely be seen through the branches. The tiger that should be....isn't....
