Ashriel smiled as his lips touched her neck again; her fingers were tingling from being laced together with his. The wind blew past them gently, shuffling her hair off to the side. "I wish things could always be like this..." She said quietly, completely content. --I just realized: Ashriel never got dressed. -.- --

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((.......Crap, she didn't. XD *waves hand to use jedi mind trick* There are no plot holes here.))
Raevyn smiled softly. He sputtered and pulled back though, the wind pushing her hair into his face. he pulled back one hand to brush it aside before resting his chin on her shoulder again. "Yeah." He agreed softly. "It'd be nice." There was a wistful tone to his voice. He'd never really known true peace, only uneasy acceptance. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel turned her head so that she could see him, before she leaned her head against his. She wanted to stay right there, she wanted time to freeze. Raevyn seemed so much more relaxed outside. She wished it could always be this way. "I wish...I wish I had enough money to make my home seem like it was outdoors. That way, maybe you'd be this comfortable and relaxed in it." She said quietly, practically whispering the words.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, hearing her wish. "Sorry. I didn't realize it was so obvious." He apologized to her. He usually tried to hide how uneasy walls made him. He'd thought he'd been doing good but maybe he hadn't. He rested his cheek against hers lightly. "I'll live wherever you live. I don't care where or what it looks like." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted at the apology. "Don't apologize, please. And it was only apparent because you came outside and there was such a difference in how relaxed you were. I could tell...just barely." She told him softly, obviously upset about the fact that he felt that he had to apologize. "But it isn't fair that you aren't completely relaxed much. Maybe...maybe if I run into money, we can get a house...with lots of windows. Maybe with the outer walls made of windows! That would be nice, right?" She knew that it wasn't likely, but she wanted to pretend that it was possible.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled softly, glad to find he had been hiding it well. If Ashriel could just barely tell them chances were most people couldn't as they didn't pay nearly as much attention to him. "Whatever you want." He purred indulgently. "As long as you're happy, I'm okay." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled. "Okay." She answered softly, grinning.
Jennalin smiled up at the tree, hearing their conversation faintly. She suspected this was due to her abilities, so she didn't say anything. She did, however, back herself against the tree as someone approached. When they walked by, she calmed, but something about them bothered her. "Anytime you two feel like coming down, I'm a little...bothered by the last person that walked by." She'd had a slight spike in what she could hear as they went by. That must mean that they were either were or psychic. Either way, she definitely didn't want to stay alone.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn instantly stiffened at Jennalin's words. He frowned, then glanced at Ashriel. If Jennalin was bothered, then it was time to head down. And from her words, it was best to head down quickly. "Put your arms around my neck and hold on tight. We're going down fast." Once he was sure of her grip, he began jumping down, leaping from branch to branch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, holding on tight. She closed her eyes as they went down, making sure to keep her grip. Once they were down, she opened her eyes to look around. Sure enough, there was a man, talking on his cellphone, who glowed more like a were or a...whatever Jen was, than an ordinary person. His was too strong to be ordinary. She couldn't make out what he was saying, but he glanced at them a couple of times.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn landed lightly, setting Ashriel down though he kept an arm around her waist to help support her. He glanced at Jennalin, then at the man. A small hiss escaped him. He didn't like the look of the man and he wasn't one to just sit and wait for trouble. "Let's go. Time to get out of here." He said, heading towards the park exit. He moved at an angle though, always keeping an eye on the man. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The man frowned, but he followed them, still talking. Ashriel glanced back at him, not putting much weight on her bad leg as she walked. "Raevyn, he's following us..." She whispered at a level that only Raevyn, in his proximity, could hear. Jennalin frowned as she saw that the man was following them; this couldn't be good. No way could they go straight home without the weres finding out where they lived.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I can see that." Raevyn murmured softly, his lips almost brushing her ear. Even then, she could just barely hear him. "Try not to talk too much." He warned her, not wanting the man to hear anything. Plus it would let Raevyn listen for anything else. He changed their direction, heading into the gardens. There was a shrubbery maze in there he knew and that was where he was heading. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded, carefully walking along with him. It was difficult for her to walk at the pace they were, and she flinched with pain a couple of times. Jennalin came to stand closer to them, so that she wouldn't get lost.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn felt sorry for Ashriel, forcing her to this pace. He shifted his grip slightly, trying to support as much of her weight as he could so she didn't hurt herself. With a backwards glance at the man, he led the two girls into the maze. He hurried in, taking as many twists and turns as he could. He stopped suddenly, listening to see if the man was following them somehow. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The man was cursing loudly now, having gotten more than lost after the second turn. He was loud enough that Ashriel could even hear, and Ash looked up at Raevyn, hoping that they could head home now. She dare not speak yet.
