The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smirked to himself. Glancing at Ashriel, he nodded to her question but held a finger to his lips. They would leave but they still had to be quiet. He knew this maze like the back of his hand as he proved, leading them down the path and then out. He headed for the park entrance, keeping a wary eye out. The tiger that should be....isn't....

After they left the maze, Ashriel saw no auras but weak, human ones. She sighed silently, knowing that there were no weres in the immediate proximity. Jennalin stayed close, relieved now that she'd caught that man before anything could happen.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Once they were out of the park, Raevyn relaxed slightly. He slowed their pace so Ashriel could handle it easily. "Good call Jennalin." He congratulated the other girl softly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin nodded quietly. "Thanks." She answered, her voice even softer. She knew he could still hear her, and she still would rather not speak loudly.
Ashriel looked at Raevyn, her leg sore. She was thinking about asking him to carry her...but... --I should go to sleep now. I might get in one or two more posts...but I need to be going to sleep--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded, then glanced at Ashriel. "How're you--Nevermind. Stupid question." He said, scooping her up into his arms. He'd been going to ask how she was feeling but it was obvious to him she was hurting. He could see it in her eyes.
((I'm off to bed actually. Tis pretty late and I work tomorrow.)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled lightly as he picked her up. "Thanks..." She whispered, her arms wrapping into a hug around his neck.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Next time tell me." Raevyn chided her softly. "Don't make me guess. I hate not knowing if you're in pain." As he spoke, his eyes flickered around them, trying to make sure no one else was following them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel nodded carefully. "I didn't think it mattered." She said, her own eyes glancing about. Still no non-human glows, as far as she could tell. Jennalin seemed somewhat relaxed, as well.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Well it matters to me." Raevyn told her briskly, though not unkindly. He was just wandering around the town now, making sure no one was following them. Slowly but surely he began making his way back to the apartments, always taking the roundabout route. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled softly, looking at him. "I'll remember that later." She told him quietly, sitting up slightly to kiss him on his cheek lightly. Her eyes looked at him lightly, her arms still wrapped around his neck.
Jennalin followed closely behind them, her eyes watching around. Nothing was near, as far as she could see.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled slightly. "Good. See that you do." He said with a small laugh. They finally made it home and he shifted Ashriel slightly so he could unlock the door. He entered first, using all his senses to make sure nothing had happened while they were out. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as they entered. Nothing had been disturbed, and it was becoming apparent, to Ash at least, that the weres who had something against Raevyn and herself didn't know where they lived. Thank goodness. Her eyes looked up to him, staying close to him.
Jennalin followed carefully behind, going immediately to the kitchen. "Jen, stay out of the kitchen; I don't want my apartment burnt to smithereens." Ashriel called out as she spotted the other girl.
Jennalin frowned. "Oh, come on, I'm not that bad a cook!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled, setting Ashriel on the couch. He padded into the kitchen, grabbing Jen's shoulders and gently propelling her out of the kitchen. "Go keep her company. I'll make something to eat." He said with a smile. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin frowned lightly. "Lovely. That's just a roundabout way of saying you agree with Ash that I can't cook." She answered Raevyn although she did go and join Ashriel on the couch.
"Oh, come on, Jen. You can do lots of things...you just cannot cook." Ashriel said as Jennalin joined her, hugging her friend lightly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled and called to Jen. "No, it's a roundabout - and polite - version of saying this is my kitchen so get the hell out." He said teasingly. He could be heard clattering around, making a meal. The tiger that should be....isn't....
