Good evening everyone.
Due to a city-wide power outage because of the stormy weather we've been having lately, my shift at the library ended up being cut shorter than it would have been. Since there was no power when I got there, it made it hard to do any shelving because there's no power to the elevators - meaning the only way to take books upstairs is to go out the door from the basement, around the building, and through the front door of the library. Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from being able to do more than one cart each. Not to mention, being able to see some of the shelves in the darker areas of the library.
