"Okay, that I can deal with!" Jennalin called back, now grinning at Ashriel. She was digging through her bag, and she'd found the nail polish. "Raevyn, I'm opening a few windows." She called, standing up to do so.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Sounds good." Raevyn called back easily. He could hear her moving around and suspected why the windows were being opened. And if he was right and it was nailpolish, then he was more than glad to have the windows open. He hated the scent of it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin finished opening the windows and returned to Ashriel. Moving Ashriel carefully to sit on the ground so that she wouldn't get any polish on the new couch, Jennalin opened the bottle, and she started on Ashriel's finger nails.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hummed to himself as he cooked, letting the girls be girls. After awhile, he came back into the living room, watching them. "Well, food is on the table, whenever you two finish." He told them lightly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Actually, Ash's nails should be dry by now. So...we're finished." Jennalin answered, standing up. She hadn't bothered with her own - this was mainly a distraction from what had happened earlier. She was doing whatever she could to keep Ashriel from actually asking what the punishment for knowing or telling was. She knew what Ash would do if she knew, and she wanted to prevent that.
"Okay, then I want to go eat!" Ashriel declared, attempting and failing to get up.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes and went to pick up Ashriel. "What have I told you about getting up on your own?" He asked her rhetorically. He carried her into the kitchen, setting her at the table before taking his own seat. Three plates of grilled cheese sat on the table. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I feel like a child." Ashriel muttered, only to smile and begin eating after she was sent back down. Jennalin didn't hear Ash's comment at all, she only joined the two at the table, eating silently.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head, smiling. "Only because you're not used to people doing things for you." He told her playfully. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled lightly. "You might be right." She answered before taking another big bite of her sandwich.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Of course I'm right." Raevyn told her with a smirk. "I'm always right." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel finished her food, grinning at Raevyn. "You're not always right, but you are never wrong." She answered, laughing. A knock came upon the door at the same time as the phone rang, and Jennalin pouted.
"Go away, Luke!" She yelled at the door, and the knocking and ringing suddenly ceased. "Hey...it worked." She said quietly to herself, pondering this fact. Instead, her cellphone began to ring, and she frowned.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just rolled his eyes again. He glanced at the door and was about to get up and answer it when it stopped. He looked confused, then looked to Jennalin. "That was weird. Answer it. See what he wants." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin rolled her eyes, taking out her phone to answer it. "What? Oh...I'd forgotten. Fine, I'll come out. Yes, I'll hand the phone to him." She answered her brother's questions easily, handing off the phone to Raevyn before walking off to grab her things.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked confused but took the phone. "Yeah?" He asked, almost hesitantly. What in the world did Lucian want? The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian's voice came through the phone hushed. "I thought you'd want to know that it stinks of dog out here. I'm going to check the other floors tomorrow, try and figure out why, but...you might want to watch you back for when the dog smells cat." He said swiftly, his voice obviously worried by the smell.
