The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn frowned at the news. "That wasn't there when we got home." He told Lucian softly. "I checked for something like that. I wonder though......" He trailed off then hurriedly explained what had happened in the park. "I thought we'd lost them but maybe not." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian paused, listening to Raevyn's explanation. "They might have had spies, hiding somewhere where Ashriel wouldn't be able to spot them, and far enough away that Jen couldn't sense them." He said, frowning. "But you might want to move Ashriel somewhere else...just to try and keep hidden. I'm surprised you didn't have to move sooner. Do you want me to scope out somewhere, or would you rather?" He questioned, knocking on the door again. He wanted to be able to come in and talk in person.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded, though Lucian couldn't hear him. He rose and went to open the door, turning off the phone as he did so. "I'd like to scope out a place. I've got a few mind, since I thought it might come to this." He said quietly, glancing back at Ashriel. "If you're not in a hurry, could you watch the girls for a little bit right now? Or do you need to get something done right now?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded as he listened, thinking carefully. "I can watch them - I was just going to take Jen shopping for someone, but I think that can wait." He answered, looking at Raevyn. "Well, we'd better hurry on this front; I think the dogs have narrowed down their search to this building." His voice was hushed again as he went to step inside.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Got it." Raevyn murmured, stepping past Lucian to outside. He made a face, noticing the same scent Lucian had. "Stupid mutts." He muttered, then hurried down the stairs and out onto the streets. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian closed the door after Raevyn, locking it. He made a face at the lingering scent of nail polish. --timeskippers, then?--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((I guess so.))
Raevyn returned a few hours later, unlocking the door quietly and slipping inside. He glanced around to see where everybody was. He'd managed to find a new place and made arrangements with the land owners. They could move in as soon as they gathered their stuff. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel had curled up with Jennalin in her arms on the couch; Jennalin was obviously awake and completely uncomfortable. Lucian was sitting on the ground, just out of Jennalin's reach, chuckling at his sister's predicament. He turned his head to see Raevyn coming in, still with a grin on his face. "Find a place, then?" He said, his voice still ringing of laughter.
"This isn't funny, Luke, really. Raevyn? Help!" Jennalin whispered, again struggling against Ashriel's apparently strong grasp.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned, seeing their predicament. "Yeah. Nice place too." He said, coming to stand by Lucian. "You know Jen, I'm tempted to just leave you there, mean and nasty person that I am. But I'm too good for my own good." He said with a dramatic sigh. He flickered to his cat form and hopped up on the couch, nudging at Ashriel's arms. "Alright Jen, outta my spot." He hoped the feel of his fur would encourage Ashriel to shift her grip to him - her normal sleeping companion - rather than Jennalin. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel felt Raevyn's fur against her arms and pulled him into them, releasing Jennalin. Jennalin abruptly stood up and hit her brother in the back of the head. "That's what you get for leaving me." Lucian was left rubbing his head as he looked at Raevyn, standing up slowly.
"Really, then? Are you two going to move today, while the sun is still up, or wait until tomorrow?" There was still a good hour or two of sunlight left, and they could probably move whatever was needed using Lucian's car - or a truck that he left in a garage down the street.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked up from where he curled in Ashriel's arms comfortably. He chuckled, watching the siblings. "I was about to wake her up. If there's any danger here, I don't want to keep her here any longer than we have to. Anything necessary can be moved tonight. Anything else, we'll grab another day." He told Lucian, then turned to face Ashriel. He touched his nose to hers lightly, speaking to her only. "Ashriel, time to get up. We have to get going." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel woke up gradually, looking at Raevyn. "Wha?" Her voice rang out as she sat up, Raevyn still in her arms.
Lucian nodded lightly. "I'm going to take Jennalin to pack her things - we're headed to her own penthouse, just until I can find somewhere closer to you two." He told Raevyn, grabbing his sister's hand as he began to walk out. "Just knock when you are ready to go - I'll drive you two there."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Got it." Raevyn acknowledged though he didn't turn to look at them leaving. He focused on Ashriel instead, nudging her. "Get up. We have to go. I need to know what you want packed." He told her, crawling out of her arms and jumping to the floor, shifting forms as he did so. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him, still confused. "Where are we going?" She questioned as she sat up, looking up at his face. "And for how long? And why?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn picked her up, carrying her into the bedroom. "Some dog has been sniffing around our door and I don't like that. We're moving to a new place. Probably never coming back here, once we get all of our stuff." He told her bluntly before looking around. "Do you have suitcases or bags or something to pack stuff in?" The tiger that should be....isn't....
