 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes but his whiskers twitched in amusement. "Alrighty then." He could see how she would get away with it though. He'd noticed Ashriel didn't always pay the most attention to things.
Lixini bounced along the sidewalk, back to Ashriel's place, grinning. "That was fun!" She chirped happily, unable to stand still. True to her word, she managed to get a hold of some pixie stix. The most dangerous thing to give to a girl who lived on a permanent sugar high. Currently, she was bouncing from all the sugar in her already hyped up system. "Wasn't that fun Ash? We should do that again. I had fun. Did you have fun Ash? How could you have not had fun?" She asked her questions rapidfire, not giving the other girl much of a chance to answer.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"You are right, Lix, it was fun." Ashriel said as soon as there was a break in Lix's speech. She walked up the stairs to her apartment, opening the door to look at Jennalin grinning broadly at Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced at the door as it opened. His eyes widened as he saw Lixini make a beeline for him. "Kitty!" She squealed, scooping him up and cuddling him. "Can't. Breathe!" He gasped out to Jennalin and Ashriel. He struggled to get away but the girl had him held too tight. "Get me away from this crazy!" Lix just giggled and buried her face in his black fur. "Aww......Such a cute little kitty. I likes kitties. So soft and fluffy and cuddly....." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Lix, if you don't loosen your grip, I think you might kill him. Remember what happened to Eli?" Jennalin reminded Lixini of her old kitten, the one that Lixini had literally squeezed to death when she was seven.
Ashriel, however, moved over to whisper to Raevyn in a way that Lixini couldn't hear. "That's what you get, pervy kitty."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glared at her. "I told you, I'm not a pervert!" He said, so only Ashriel could hear him. Lix sighed and loosened her grip on the cat. As soon as he had enough room, Raevyn scrambled from her grip. "Kitty!" Lixini cried and tried to catch him again. Now that he was on guard though, the black cat wasn't about to be caught again. He scrambled up to the top of the refrigerator and stayed there, watching everyone. "Aw....Kitty, come back down!" Lixini tried to reach up and catch Raevyn but she was too short. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin laughed lightly at the scene, scooting over to Ashriel. "Um, how much?" She asked softly, as she knew Ashriel would know what she meant.
"Six pixie stix."
"We are dead."
"Yup."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lix continued to try and coax Raevyn down for another few minutes. He simply stayed on top of the fridge, hissing at the girl. Finally, she gave up and bounced back to the other girls. "Kitty doesn't want to come down....." She said, crossing her arms and pouting. She grinned suddenly though and hugged Jennalin. "Guess what? Guess what? I had sugar! I had pixie stixs! Lots of them! They were soooo good! I don't understand why mom won't let me have them. She says I don't need them. I think I do. Everyone needs sugar when it's that good." She chattered insistently. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin smiled, not attempting to stop Lixini. "How long ago did you have them?" Basically, Jennalin was trying to figure out when the crash would come. Usually Lix's extreme sugar rushes only lasted for an hour before she had the worst crash known to the girls. She would actually get so tired that she would plop down on the nearest surface and fall asleep.
Ashriel rolled her eyes at Raevyn. "At least you can get away." She muttered under her breath, knowing that Raevyn could still hear her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked down at Ashriel, smug in his perch. "This is punishment for calling me pervy kitty." He told her in amusement.
Jennalin's question actually made Lix shut up for a minute as she tried to figure it out. "Um.....Huh. I'm not sure. Half hour? Fifteen minutes? I don't know." She shrugged, unconcerned. She never remembered the incoming crash while she was on her high. "I think Ashriel knows. Ash always knows. She knows lots of things. Is there anything Ash doesn't know? I wanna find out now. Ash! What's something you don't know?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Twenty seven minutes ago." Ashriel told Jennalin after she'd check her watch, glancing at Lixini. Three minutes left of...this. "Science, remember Lix?" She said softly, looking at her hyper-active friend.
"Only three minutes left." Jennalin muttered softly, watching Lixini bounce. "That's because Ash is a genius."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Thank god for small miracles." Raevyn told the two girls, hearing their conversation. "That girl is a monster I wouldn't wish on anyone. Well, except maybe that damn wolf pack. But that's it."
Lixini, oblivious to Raevyn's commenting, merely continued to chatter. "Oh that's right! I forgot you weren't good at science. But you're good at lost of other things so that doesn't really matter. Besides, you have us!" She hugged the pair for a brief moment before bouncing around the kitchen again. She continued to bounce and chatter for a few minutes. Finally, after what seemed like forever, she came to a sudden stop. "You know what?" She asked with a yawn. "I'm tired......" She wandered off to the living room and plopped on the couch. She was asleep in minutes. When Lix crashed, she crashed hard. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed as Lixini crashed on the couch. "Okay, pervy kitty, you can come down now."
Jennalin looked at Raevyn with a questioning look as Ashriel said 'pervy kitty'. "She's right, Lix should be out for an hour or two." She said before going close to the fridge.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed with relief. "Gods be thanked. Man, that girl is terrifying when she's had sugar." He climbed down to sit on the counter where he glared at Ashriel and added, "And I'm not a pervert!" He said with a huff. The tiger that should be....isn't....
