 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn answered in a calm voice, trying not to provoke her. "Just to the store. Ashriel needs some things." He looked up as the store came into sight. "Here." He said, holding open the door for the girls.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed, going into the store. "Sorry about Jen's RUDENESS." She said, only for Jen to kick at her crutch. "Hey!" Ash said, shoving the crutch at Jen before going forward quickly to find the toiletry section.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hey, hey, hey! Just relax you two." Raevyn said hurriedly, planting himself between the two so they couldn't physically attack each other. "Come on now. Let's just play nice, okay?" He was trying not to look at the section they were in, trying to avoid it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel and Jennalin both looked at Raevyn as he spoke. "Fine." They said in unison, Ashriel searching for what she needed. Grabbing it, she realized that she couldn't walk and carry something at the same time.
"Err...Raevyn...could you carry it?" She asked, now red in the face. This was embarrassing, asking a boy to do it for her. Her eyes looked apologetically at him as she spoke, practically begging him to just say yes and nothing more.
Jennalin frowned at her friend's embarrassment. She grabbed the box suddenly, and she turned around and started marching towards check-out. "That's all you wanted, right, Ash?" She asked kindly, suddenly best friends with Ashriel again.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was about to reach out and take the box when Jennalin beat him to it. "Um.....Okay." 'Well, it's better than fighting.' He decided not to knock it and just go with the flow. He shrugged and followed the girls to the checkout. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxOnce they reached the check-out, everything seemed just fine. The girls were both smiling...until it came time to pay. "I'm paying for my own things, Jen." Ashriel said flatly, to which Jennalin responded with a shake of her head.
xxx"Oh, no you're not! I'm paying." She got out her wallet, only for her to be swatted at by Ashriel, who immediately set to getting out her own money.
xxx"I'm paying."
xxx"No, I am!"
xxx"I am!"
xxx"I am!"
xxxAnd this just repeated over, and over again.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, hearing the bickering. While they were busy, he slid past them to the poor cashier and paid. Grabbing the bag with the box, he let out a sharp whistle to get their attention. "The stuff is paid for you two. Let's go." The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxThe girls' heads flicked to Raevyn. "But I was going to pay!" They said in unison, now following after him rather grim looking.
xxx"Ishould'vebeentheonetopay." Ashriel grumbled, now next to Raevyn. She looked up at him, frowning. "It's all your fault." She said to Jen, glaring at the other girl.
xxx"It was obviously yours, you should've just let me pay."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed. "I paid because you two wouldn't stop bickering long enough to pay." He said bluntly, then turned towards their new home. "Come on. Let's go back home." He didn't stop to see what effect his words had on the pair. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxBoth girls just stared at Raevyn for a moment, looked at each other, and then they made a declaration, in unison again. Some could say it was creepy that, during this time of the month, if they agreed on something, they spoke it in perfect unison."I'm not going." They both said, heading in opposite directions at the intersection. Ashriel just took a left instead of going straight, like they should have, and Jennalin turned about abruptly, walking back where they'd just come from.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and reached out, snagging the back of Jennalin's shirt. "Oh yes you are. You are both coming home and you're going to shut up and enjoy it." He said in a growl, his patience wearing thin. He dragged Jennalin as he caught up with Ashriel, scooping her up in one arm as if she weighed nothing. That done, he continued across the intersection, carrying Ash and dragging Jen by her shirt. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel pouted as Raevyn picked her up. Jennalin rolled her eyes. However, they did shut up. Completely and totally. Ashriel just closed her eyes silently, frowning still. Jennalin was now keeping up reluctantly, not really wanting to, anyway.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn breathes a sigh of relief as the girls quiet down. Even an angry silence was better than that bickering. He kept a hold of Jennalin though, not risking her walking off again. He only let go of her to open the door of the house and shoo her in. He plopped Ashriel on the couch, her crutches beside her. Thank the gods he was in the house. Now they could storm off and pout all they wanted. He could still keep track of them in here. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxWhen Jennalin entered, she walked immediately to the bedroom, slamming the door after herself. She plopped onto the bed, laying back. Ashriel stayed right where Raevyn set her, not speaking still. She closed her eyes for a moment before she leaned back and stared up at the ceiling.

I want a real cat, none of this bickering." He muttered then grabbed the box of food, taking it to the kitchen to unpack it properly. The tiger that should be....isn't....
