"I understand. I'm not so well endowed just yet either." Mala said with a soft sigh. "I can wait until we're back to our old selves tonight."

"Me too, I think your mom might even be enjoying this just a little too much." Van said putting a hand on his head from Marianne's hair ruffling.

Mala sighed deeply. "She loves children, even if she can't always handle them like she should." she grumbled.

"If it helps any, she didn't seem to try to take advantage of you at all." Van said, a little surprised that Marianne hadn't been on the verge of melting while Mala was still in the amnesiac state of non-mother hating.

"You're here with me. That, plus, she knows I would be furious once I got my memories back." Mala stated her guessed calmly.

"So why not just have another kid? She shouldn't have any more reason to take off again, so I'm sure she'd do fine." Van said.

"My mother is a harlot who doesn't like keeping just one partner. She probably will if she can within the next hundred years or so." Mala replied to Van, shrugging. "Well, can we please leave soon? Or did you plan on waiting out the remaining time here?"

"It's up to you, if you want to let the kids see us like this." Van said with a shrug.

"Who said we had to return home, either? We could just find some nice area near the pool or something to relax until we get our true selves back." Mala replied, shrugging slightly. "More than likely, Larai's either babysitting Daemon still or heading to her room for a nap. Kai's probably practicing his guitar or talking to girls in town. So if we play our cards right, we can also just sneak by them both and wait in our room until we change back to normal."

"I've got nothing in mind, so I leave it up to you." Van said with a smile. At this point he'd gotten used to their childish predicament.

"Let's sneak home." Mala decided without much thought. "Also, how long do you think we've got until we're back to normal?"

"Well, Marianne said we'd be kids for at least fifteen hours, and it was nine hours until you got your memory back, so at least another six hours until we can resume our adult lives." Van said.

Mala sighed after hearing how long she'd have to wait. "When we get home, what do you want to do until it wears off? I was thinking of either cuddling or sleeping it off."

"I'd rather just go home instead." Mala said, honestly not caring to remain as a child for any reason.
