xxxJennalin came out of the bedroom suddenly, moving towards the bathroom quickly. Ashriel continued to stare at the ceiling, sitting there silently. xxxThirty minutes later, Jen was back in the bedroom, not doing anything, and Ashriel was still in the exact same position. Neither had said anything.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn spent the time, unpacking what he could. He didn't go into the bedroom though, leaving Jennalin to her devices. The longer the silence stretched out though, the more nervous he got. It felt like the calm before the storm. He paused in front of Ashriel suddenly, looking at her. "Hey. You okay?" He asked, if only for something to say. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel looked at Raevyn silently, keeping her resolve. She nodded simply, not speaking at all. If he looked closely, he might notice that her eyes were slightly red from tears. Then again, that was just barely noticable. Her fingers twisted her hair as she bit her lip slightly. Sure, she might be lying, but it wasn't all THAT much noticable.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn reached out to touch her lips softly. "Stop biting." He told her quietly. He frowned, looking at her face. "Were you crying?" He asked, just barely able to make out redness. He doubted most people would notice but he paid extra attention to Ashriel as he knew she was prone to hiding things. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel looked at him, shaking her head again. It seemed natural for her to lie now; she would rather not tell him. How had he noticed she was biting her lip? She could have sworn that it wasn't evident at all! A little bit of the salty water from the tears remained in her eyes. Her fingers went through her hair carefully.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, hurt flashing in his amber eyes briefly. He thought he'd gotten her to trust him. "If you say so." He said softly, clearly not believing her. He kissed her forehead. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." He said, turning and leaving. It was clear - to him at least - that she didn't want him around right now. So he headed into the kitchen. There he began arranging and rearranging things, simply for something to do. After awhile, he began cooking lunch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAs Raevyn went back into the kitchen, Ashriel's stomach churned. She curled into herself, still not speaking as tears began to make their way does her cheeks. She didn't want him to know... It was her own fault, anyway. She was so stupid. So, so, so, so stupid. She insulted her friend, fought with her friend, just because of hormones. She gave her boyfriend the silent treatment for absolutely no reason. "So stupid." She muttered, curling into the couch further.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn finished making lunch, just simple mac and cheese. He carried a bowl to the living room, setting it on the arm of the couch. "Lunch is ready." He told Ashriel softly then carried on to the bedroom. He tapped on the door lightly and set the bowl down. "Lunch is outside the door Jennalin." That done, he retreated from the hormonal girls, heading back to the kitchen to eat his own lunch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel glanced up at the mac and cheese, shaking her head. "I'm not hungry." She finally spoke, her voice choked and upset. She was mad at herself - there was no possible way she could eat when she felt like this. Her stomach continued to churn. Quietly, she turned back into the couch, bawling. She felt bad, about everything she'd said that day. xxxJennalin stepped out the door to grab her food before she shut it again.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn found he couldn't eat either. He could both hear and feel Ashriel being upset. He sighed and headed back into the living room. He entered the living room in his cat form. He hopped up onto the couch, padding until he was at Ashriel's head. He licked the tears from her cheeks. "I'm sorry. Please don't cry." The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel looked at Raevyn, hiccuping. "It's not something you did. It's what I said. What I did." She told him, her stomach sick. "I was stupid earlier. Like I always am. Stupid, stupid, stupid." Her voice was self-derogatory. It was apparent that she was mad at herself for earlier - this happened a lot more often during this particular time.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn purred, the sound a soothing sound. "You're not stupid." He said, his voice almost a croon. He brushed his furred cheek against hers, then licked her cheek. "You're not stupid so don't cry please. I hate seeing you cry." The tiger that should be....isn't....

xxxAshriel listened to his purring, calming slightly. "I'm sorry. So so sorry. So sorry..." She repeated over and over again, and she was still repeating it as Jennalin came out to clean her dish. Upon seeing her friend crying, Jennalin turned and walked out of the room. She did have some sense to know that Ashriel would explode if she knew that Jen had seen.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rested his head on her shoulder, still purring. He glanced at Jennalin, sharp ears catching her movement. "Thanks." He told her softly, not letting Ashriel hear. Turning his attention back to Ashriel, he murmurs softly to her, "There's no need to be sorry. It's okay. Everything is alright." He continued murmuring, not really saying anything in particular. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel hiccuped again. "Everything is not okay. I gave you the silent treatment for absolutely no good reason. I fought with Jen over the stupidest thing ever. I endangered myself and you in my anger. I was stupid. It isn't okay. And I'm sorry about everything." She seemed to be gasping to breath in her tears after her little speech. Still, she listened to him, settling down slowly to the sound of his purring.
