 I saw that JoEllen (of Firefly Path) and her husband Jack are in the Portland area and apparently have attended the convention. I don't know if they only went to one of the first couple days... or if they're doing all three days. It would be really awesome if I happened to cross paths with them tomorrow. The likelihood of that happening is probably slim... but still... it would make my day.

Bloody hell. I just want to watch Heroes of Cosplay! For free! Netflix doesn't have it, OnDemand didn't have it, and even the official SyFy channel doesn't have their site up for the show either that I would watch them on ((if I even was able to in the first place)).
Hopefully this site I found will be generous and allow me to watch all of the episodes without sending me out on a goose chase.

Good evening everyone!
I went to Wizard World Portland Comic Con today. It was so much fun! I got a photo-op with Sasha Roiz (Grimm), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution, ONCE), and Alan Tudyk (Firefly/Serenity, Dollhouse, Wreck-It Raplh). Got some awesome goodies, including a limited edition Princess Luna plushie!
Unlike last year where most of my time was spent in panels, this year I focused mostly on the photo-ops and exploring the show floor. There was only one panel that actually looked interesting to me - one featuring Giancarlo - but timing wise it didn't work out for me. That's okay though since I ended up seeing him anyway with the photo-op and got to briefly speak to him during our couple second shoot.

I also got a picture with Jessica Merizan, a famous cosplayer.
And I just realized when I came home and looked at her Facebook page that I've recently seen her on something - the episode of Heroes of Cosplay I watched last night. *laughs* Pretty awesome... but a bit awkward too due to some of the thoughts I had while watching the particular episode of her. She seemed cool in person though.
