Ashriel looked at Raevyn, pouting. "But...I didn't mean right now!" She cried, tears falling down her cheeks slowly. "Going out sounds good. I...I didn't mean right now, I swear!" She told him, moving to walk out the door. Her crutches were no where near her at all as she opened the front door.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn growled low in his throat as he heard her moving towards the door. He stalked towards Ashriel, picking her up roughly and setting her back down on the couch. "Make up your mind!" He snapped at her. "First you want to go out with me, then you want to be alone, then you say you don't! Make up your mind for crying out loud." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel really began to cry at this. "I'm sorry! Really, really sorry. There was a reason I didn't say anything at first! I'm so very sorry." She told him between gasps and hiccups. "I'm just plain stupid, I guess." Her voice was quiet, without any resolve to it at all.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed as he realized he'd made Ashriel cry. Again. His temper disappeared and he sat down beside Ash, pulling her onto his lap and cradling her. "Shh. Shh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap." He murmured softly, petting her hair. "Please don't cry. I'm sorry, alright? Just please don't cry. You're not stupid. I just need to keep a better hold of my temper. I'm sorry. I'm still not used to having to stay calm." He explained, hoping he could get her to stop crying. He hated seeing the tears and it made him miserable knowing that he'd caused it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked up at him, sighing lightly. She managed to calm a little, and she spoke quietly. "Then...can we still go out? I know... It's okay. I'm a little...moody. So I'm sorry I made you snap." She said, tears still flowing slowly down her cheeks. His voice was relaxing, as was his hand going through her hair.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, glad that she was calming down. He kissed her temple lightly. "We'll go out as soon as you stop crying." He promised her. He didn't want to embarrass her by taking her out with tears covering her cheeks. He continued petting her hair as it seemed to help calm her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed deeply as she sat there. She stopped crying for the moment, looking at Raevyn. In his arms, she was calming to the point that she was smiling slightly. Almost as an after thought, she spoke. "Okay, before we go...did you get my make up kit?" In her eyes, she needed to make herself back up, especially after she'd just been crying.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn made a face at the mention of the kit. "Yes I brought that stupid thing." He muttered, letting his distaste for the make up be shown. He hated it. It covered up his Ashriel, hiding her true face, no matter how subtle the make up. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him quietly. "What? What do you have against it?" She asked him, a little bothered that he was making such a face.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I don't like it." Raevyn said, sounding like he was sulking. "It's not you. You don't need that crap. And especially no perfume." He wrinkled his nose. He loathed perfumes. They hurt his sensitive nose with their harsh, chemical scents. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him, sighing. "Okay...I won't wear it. As long as no one asks why I was crying." She said softly, hugging him. A sigh fell from her lips as she waited for him to make a decision.

Raevyn smiled softly, kissing her temple lightly. "Thank you." He murmured, pleased. He brushed her cheek lightly with his fingertips. "Ready to go then?"

Ashriel bit her lip lightly as she nodded. "And I want to show you a place I think you might like. You don't mind going out to eat, right?" She asked softly, shivering at his touch.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Sounds fine by me." Raevyn said smoothly, hiding his apprehension. He'd only been in a restaurant once before. He stood up easily, setting Ashriel on her feet. "Come on then." He said, wrapping an arm around her waist to help balance her as he headed out the door. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel walked quietly along with Raevyn, her arm wrapping around him as well. She was ready to go out, to do something. "Okay, where to first?"
