The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked at her blankly. "I thought you said you had somewhere you wanted to show me?" He asked, confused as to if she'd changed her mind or something. "Isn't that what you wanted to do?" The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him quietly, thinking for a moment. "Only if you wanted to eat first. I didn't think you were ready for dinner yet. But if you were...it is on second and third." She told him sweetly, looking at his confused face, giggling like a little kid.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn blushed faintly as he looked away. That's right. He'd forgotten that they'd just eaten recently. "Let's hit the park then. I don't want to be inside right now." Being cooped up was driving him nuts. He had to get out and just relax. He led the way to a park. There, wandering through the loosely packed trees, he relaxed, a small smile working it's way onto his face. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled as Raevyn did. "Okay." She wanted the little outdoors bistro to be a surprise when they got there, so she wasn't about to tell him. Looking up to his face, she spoke quietly, faintly. "Carry me, please?" She asked, softly, sweetly. She wanted to be closer to him for the time being.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hmm?" Raevyn asked, drawn out of his thoughts. He chuckled then picked her up. "Lazy. Just pure lazy." He chided her playfully, amusement dancing in his amber eyes. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted jokingly at his comment. "I'm not lazy!" She fought, laughing. "I just want to be close to you." She told him softly, seriously.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow teasingly. "Oh? And being at my side wasn't good enough? You needed to be carried?" He asked her mockingly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him shrugging. "Yes...but...it was that and the fact that my leg was starting to hurt." She commented quietly, her eyes looking up into his.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sobered at those words. "Sorry. I keep forgetting. I shouldn't tease you." He murmured, looking away. He continued to wander among the trees, enjoying their peace. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted when Raevyn apologized. "No, what you shouldn't do is apologize. You didn't do anything wrong." It saddened her to hear that this made him upset. She closed her eyes, thinking about it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled slightly, shifting his grip to carry her in one arm. Using his free arm, he traced Ashriel's pouting lips lightly. "I won't apologize if you stop pouting, deal?" He asked teasingly. He moved to rest at the base of a tree, sitting down. He kept Ashriel on his lap though, not wanting to let her go. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel smiled. "Deal." She said gladly, laughing lightly as they sat down. She took a deep breath, shutting her eyes for a moment. After thinking for a short bit, she asked a soft question. "Why is it such a bad thing that we go out?" She whispered, looking up at him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled lightly. At her question though, he played dumb. "We can go outside if we want. There's nothing really bad about that. We just have to be a little careful." He said, hedging around the real question. He knew what she was asking, he just didn't want to answer. He didn't want her to know about his bloody world. It made him ashamed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel frowned at him. "Raevyn, you know precisely what I'm asking. Please answer?" She asked him lightly, "You avoid my questions too often. And this one, I really want answered." Her question was pretty much innocent at this point - it was hard to tell whether or not she would believe a lie told about it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and shifted nervously. He really didn't want her to know. He scrambled for a second then hit on something. It wasn't exactly a lie per se, just not the complete truth. "Most Were's consider humans beneath them. And a lot of them also are very worried about bloodlines. They like to keep them pure. No hybrids or anything. And especially no human/Were hybrids." He told her, though he said nothing about what the punishment was. The tiger that should be....isn't....
