Scott was angry. Reyna treated him like a child. He was blind, yes, but he could see with his nose and hands and ears. He didn't need to be protected. He also didn't try to hide his anger. Ormagoden walked up to him as Scott climbed onto his back and they left. Not one word was spoken. He didn't want to say anything or else he would say something terrible to her, hurt her feelings. The camo-lizard had appeared to guard the boy and being an extension of the boy's mind, did not get focused in the boy's anger

You wanna fight? Then bring it on!
~Reyna Feruri~
Reyna sadly watched him go. She knew what was going through his head. She used her Empathy to call out to him. "I'm sorry. I just can't stand seeing others get hurt. I didn't want to take any chances. I would've done the same for all of those people if I could have. Just stay safe, ok?" She then turned and continued home. One day, and then she'd disappear.
Once I'm through, you'll see I've won.

((It has been a week. Hopefully nothing too serious has happened to any of our fellow members, but I'm gonna go ahead and move on.))
Eight A.M. was when it happened. In a week, and for centuries to come, it would be known as the Day of Destruction. Roran stood in his room at the HQ, arms crossed, staring intently at the television. C-SPAN was showing congress as the politicians within began to file out. The President of the United States was to give a speech at eleven, and the subject was so important they all wanted to be in attendance. Roran shook his head as he watched them all leave. The speech might mark the beginning of the end, but you won't be allowed to attend, you fools. As the clock neared eleven, sure enough, none of them attended, all now safe in their bunkers, and the President soon to join them. But first, the speech must be given.
It was an emergency speech, and as such the cameras were tightly on him. Roran had swapped over to CNN, figuring they'd be a bit more helpful with this part. The President stood there, sweat already forming on his brow as the lights shined intensely upon his position.
Clearing his throat, it was time. "Ladies and gentlemen of the United States of America," he paused, and the silence of all in attendance shook him to the bone. This was it. "We are now at war." The moment the word left his mouth, noise erupted. Silence returned, but not until five minutes had passed. "Terrorist attacks have been plaguing our lands for five years. For five years we have not been allowed to leave our homes, our loved ones, our shelters. For five years we could not trust our neighbors, our friends, our children's teachers, our co-workers, or even our pets!" He paused again, clearing his throat once more. "Five years....is simply five years too long that we have not been safe within our own beautiful country." His eyes scanned the crowd, the mood having changed from nervousness to a mild state of fear. "And as a result, at eight thirty this morning, an ammendment was added to the constitution, and the military has been sent to every corner of our borders to hunt down and arrest those in possession of a PC, or Power Crystal, as we now call them. For their safety, they have been equipped with a new technology proven to work, a wristband that creates an energy field around the wearer, making them immune to the effects of PCs. We," he couldn't continue, not for a moment or two. The severity of the issue had hit him two sentences ago. This was the first war to be fought on U.S. soil since the Civil War. Vomit was threatening to burst from his mouth, but he held it in, catching his breath, taking a deep one before continuing. "I ask that the American people listen to the military men, and treat them with courtesy as our country is cleansed of these abominations." He noticed his fists were clenched, and forced them to relax. "Thank you, and God bless America."
Backing away from the podium, he took a few steps, meeting his security who let him out of the cage in which he was in, protecting him from anything that might approach. Security escorted him to his vehicle, and upon entering, he let out a large sigh, his left hand over his mouth, trembling. Looking at the man across from him, he stared deeply into the man's eyes, the deep, mysterious eyes beyond those glasses.
"Good work Mr. President. I couldn't have said it better myself." Reinherdt sat across from the man, legs crossed, hands folded in his lap. "You got a little shakey at the end, but you pulled through."
"Yes, thank you," the President forced out. "And I presume our deal still holds, otherwise you wouldn't be here?" Pulling out a towel from the door pocket, he wiped sweat from his face, patting it away.
"Of course. I've already supplied you with enough wristbands for twelve times to soldiers you already have. Within a few days the majority of crystal users will either be dead or within custody."
"And the prison? Is it finished? We won't be capable of holding Power Crystal Possesors for long within an ordinary prison."
"Don't worry, the prison for PCPs has already been finished and manned by the men within the Holy Army. In addition to that, I have sent members to every major city to aid the military. You will not regret your decision to hire us."
The President eyed the CEO of the mercenary company. "Yeah, well, you are the only mercenary group to not allow crystal users in, plus you offered the wristband and prison technologies for countering the powers of PCPs. Now we can capture them with our military being safe, and put them in an island facility that negates their powers, making them normal prisoners. You have given what this country needed, its citizens crying out for aid from PCPs. We are in your debt, Mr. Hollows. There is nothing more to say."
"Thank you, Mr. President. You honor me with your praise." Last night Reinherdt had visited every PCP member of the Holy Army, using his powers to fuse the crystals with their bodies so no physical evidence of a crystal would be evident. He also passed on the knowledge that if any of them used powers while showing themselves as a member of the Holy Army, he would kill them himself, no government needed. The rest of the car ride was silent.
Roran had continued watching even after the speech finished. The CNN analysts then discussed the speech and how the majority of human citizens, or HCs, now that they began to seperate themselves, were in favor of this decision, and had been calling for it for a while now, especially after the two terrorist attacks he and Sco had performed yesterday against the bank and the park. The station then swapped over to cameras 'in the field' to show the American HCs that the President had not lied, and that the military had indeed moved in. Soldiers targeted homes of known crystal users first, while others stood guard on street corners, and in alleyways. The government was serious about this, and now that they trusted Reinherdt and his technologies, the plan could move forward. The television showed conflicts as PCPs resisted arrest, gunfire versus powers. And unfortunately for the PCPs, their powers were ineffective against the soldiers, at least directly, anyways. Roran sat down, planning on watching the news all day. The plan was proceeding perfectly. There is just one last event to occur to solidify this war and the seperation of HCs and PCPs.
Knocking on the glass window seperating the President's compartment from the driver's, the window slid open, "My stop should be coming up. Thank you." The vehicle slowed, and Reinherdt extended his hand. "It's been a pleasure, sir. I will keep in touch."
The President shook the hand, nodding "Contact the Vice President before me, he is going to take charge with this one, I'll be dealing with the political aspect. We still have to involve the Canadians and the Mexicans before we move overseas. Ater all, the meteors hit North America, no where else. We need to involve the people whom are being affected before calling to those who could stand by and watch."
Reinherdt smiled and nodded. "Sounds good. Have a good day, Mr. President." Opening the door to step out, he was joined by his men, his own security. But then it happened.
Aimie sat on the steps of a building adjacent to the one Reinherdt just exited. Moving her hand slightly, a man walking towards Reinherdt, a PCP she had taken control of an hour ago, ran towards the car, his hand outstretched as his power over water was exerted, and moisture from the air turned to an ice spike, which he then threw at Reinherdt, but hit the head of one of his body gurads. The body guards reacted by shooting the man as Reinherdt screamed for the driver to go, but before any of that could happen, a second ice spike formed and was thrown into the open door of the vehicle, spearing the President in the head.
Aimie let go of the control she had, allowing the PCP to die from being shot as the President's vehicle rocketed past her, a dead President inside.

The blind boy made his way through alleys and down streets, a sour look on his face. He had just heard the Presidents address on his mp3's radio. The message took over all of his music. It must have been an emergency, so he left it on, but now he wish he didn't. The whole week he had taken Reyna's advice and kept his crystal hidden. He wore a wool hat and his hair hung in his face. He also created a golden retriever and had it on one of the seeing-eye-dog leaders.
As he approached Reyna's house, he thought of how much of a pain it was to find her. The dog had to sniff the flower on his "necklace" and it took him forever for it to track her down that morning. He figured it was time to forgive her, given the circumstance. As he approached her door, he could hear military vehicles pull up around the neighborhood, their echoes carried on the wind, as well as soldiers shouting. It was starting, eh?
His fist made a slight bang on her door, the dog off to the side, seemingly just enjoying living, but he was a mini version of the now dead Ormagoden. He could breath fire as well as use his saliva as a venom, but his appearance led him to a numbing poison because fangs would give it away and that he wasn't suited to drink deadly poisons. He had enzymes that canceled out the effect the numbing venom had on him. Death venom was too difficult and Scott needed something fast.

You wanna fight? Then bring it on!
~Reyna Feruri~
The moment her supplies had come in, Reyna had left, leaving no trace, and no clue as to where she had gone. She only left a note for her mother, saying she would be away from home for a while, as well as instructions for what to do with anything that came in the mail for her. Her mother wouldn't mind. It wasn't the first time Reyna had disappeared. Now, a week later, a new package had come in the mail for her. Her mother didn't open it. She never did. Instead, she placed it outside, under the bush next to the door, just like the note had said to do. Meanwhile, Reyna had been camping out in the woods a few miles from home. She had a radio with her, so she had heard the broadcast. It angered her. Like it was her fault for ending up with a crystal. She had never done anything wrong to anyone. All she had ever used her powers for was to defend others. And now she was a wanted criminal. At least she knew how the military was going to fight them. That at least gave her a little advantage. She was glad that she had ordered those extra supplies. It looked like she would have to be away from home longer than she had thought. As she made her way back to her house after a week of camping, she felt nervous and on edge. The place was crawling with members of the military. She had to keep from constantly touching her forehead to check and make sure her crystal wasn't showing through the makeup. As she neared her house, she suddenly stopped short. There was someone outside her door. She quickly ducked around a corner. She couldn't be seen near her house. It wouldn't be safe for her mom. She peered around the corner, waiting for the person to leave. She couldn't tell what they looked like from where she stood. A middle aged woman with way too much makeup and a flashy red dress on opened the door, her hands shaking slightly. The military was making her nervous. They had already come banging on her door twice to check for crystal users. Thankfully, there was just a boy and a dog standing outside this time. She breathed a sigh of relief. "Yes, can I help you?"
Once I'm through, you'll see I've won.

Scott waited silently, listening to the sounds around him. He could hear someone inside, but she sounded different from Reyna.Scott kept his ear trained on the door. As it opened, he could not see her makeup, but she sounded O.K. Not nearly as nice as Reyna, though. "I am looking for a girl, Reyna? Do you know her?" He sounded as polite as could be, but he still looked miserable.
The dog next to him barked and wagged his tail, running off and out of Scott's grasp. He shouted after it, knowing what it was doing. He tried making it look like he was hopelessly blind and the dog went after a squirrel or something. Actually it was a someone. The dog had picked up on Reyna's scent and ran off to find her. As it rounded the corner of the house, it jumped at her playfully.

Will sighed as the President made his address. There were too many people with crystals and now they had to be treated like criminals. It's just like in X-Men, except the powers are now useless. Will thought and sighed. Then he had a thought, what if there were a bunch of Crystal Users that went out and did superhero stuff? Surely that would help matters. But to do that, Will would need to find people who could be superheroes.
Ian Knowles sat in his office chuckling to himself, the new Government policy was going to make his job a whole lot easier. Hell, he could probably offer his little service publicly, of course that would mean having it in with the Government. Hmm, now how would someone like me, with a crystal in his hand, go about brokering a deal with this new Anti-Crystal Government? Ian thought to himself as he began to brainstorm.
