Ich hab letztens meinen deutsch Wortschatz mal wieder aufgefüllt um mehrere hundert Wörter aus dem Englischen.

Klingt zwar stellenweise übelst altmodisch, aber im Prinzip ist deren Sinn erkenntlich xd

I only took German in high school for a year so I would know the basics and be able to speak it a little with my sister and boyfriend and friends who took classes for 2 or 3 or 4 years.. And because I am 50% german so it makes sense to learn the language of my heritage.

like, I know this saying:

"Ich bin ein berliner!" - I am a jelly donut/ danish roll! xp for some odd reason, it's apparently very funny to our german teacher.

Er ist in Amerika.
Sie sind grosse.
Ihr seid klein.
Sie sind am schonen rhein.

And: Ich bin auchtzehn jahre alt.

I think it would be a sehr gut idea to try to teach each other all that we know so we can all become fluent in deutsch!
